From what I can see, the price margin between btc-e and bitfinex for BTC/USD as of right now is 49 USD.
Is it feasible to buy BTC from btc-e, and sell on bitfinex? Or do the fees completely kill the profit?
Has anyone tried something like this?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

The problem is often get the funds out of the destination exchange. But there are bots just to compare exchanges. Wrote one myself.

It is possible but don't you think smarter(faster or admins) people know and see such opportunities? I once tried to sell an altcoin since price was so high in some exchange and went on buying in another exchange and was so happy that I didn't check first to find out deposit is disabled where price was high. I believe there is always a catch in doing that, would it be the admins of those services doing it themselves and will never let you and I to be successful in doing it? But I doubt that fees could have any real impacts on profit, simply there are automated trades taking place by using bots and only way to get a head of others is using bots. |

Its quite awesome way to earn money but the fees taken in deposits and withdrawals and the trade fees just neutralizes this profit. |

I've tried it but not for the bitcoin trade. Mostly just alt trade and it's useful for me. But the risk is so high. BTCe and bitfinex are the biggest bitcoin exchange sites in the foreign. that will automatically mean the volatility is so high and it will give high risk for you. |

i think BTc-e not support margin trading
if same use system margin trading btc-e only trading in meta trader 4
is same forex trading, and btc-e metatrader 4 , under bellow from fxopen system
real margin trading another bitfinex, okcoin with future contract and bitfimex
if poloniex margin trading only altcoin

The final destination on your coins will still on your local exchanger where you are doing conversion your bitcoins into fiat so the rates will be under by that said exchange no matter how well you do your margin trading at different exchanges. And regular withdrawals or transfer to another exchange is not a wise way in some of the cases. Why try it for yourself and see how it goes for a period of time. |

i think this trading is called arbitrage, i am sorry if i am wrong. i think its worth to do this but you should make estimate how long the process for sending the amount from one wallet into other wallet in each of market exchange so you can get that profit. we can not predict how long the time the amount can arrive in destination wallet as i am sure that many people will want this opportunity too like you so you should think twice before you do this. |

Its called arbitrage and people do it and have bots to do it all the time. These players make tonnes doing it too. Its a good business but be careful because one mistake and it can cost you a lot.

you can easily do a mental math yourself. all the numbers are available for you to see on each site either on a page called /fees or you can see it in your wallet. and about these things know this: if it was possible many would have been doing it already.  |

what you are thinking or analyzing is very possible this is what traders call arbitrary trading. But to make profit from it you have to work intelligently, because, there are many things involved: Timing, bank, bitcoin and fiat money in bank. I will advice you to get a bot that will do all this for you. |

If you compare with the exchanges it will give more profit but where as when you withdraw from one exchange the charges of the withdrawal will be more. May be it is bad idea to transfer from one exchange to another almost every thing is same, better don't look for higher margins of the profit definitely it will leads to loos. |

It is possible and it is already in practice by some traders as part of arbitrage trading. You need to find solutions for moving funds in fiat format across exchanges for a continuous flow of this type of trading. For an instance, you buy bitcoins from btc-e and you can easily deposit that into bitfinex and then now you need to withdraw fiats from there to deposit into btc-e, right? If you find it is possible and feasible without delay then you can make profits by doing this. |

Of course its proven possible man. People are doing it all the time. I did it yesterday myself. You just need to have btc and wtv other coin on both exchanges when the opportunity comes up. |

Of course its proven possible man. People are doing it all the time. I did it yesterday myself. You just need to have btc and wtv other coin on both exchanges when the opportunity comes up. By having balances on both the exchanges, probably you may do a profitable trading only one time and continuously arbitrating will not be possible. You need to move funds across exchanges for continuously participating when prices gaps are being found. Moving funds might need time so delays will occur but when you are having continuous price gaps then re-using your capital funds will be the right option for good profits making. |
