BitBay (BAY) Releases Required QT Wallet & Client Updates

In preparation for the upgrade to PoS 3.0, currently scheduled for January 21st, a required update to both the QT Wallet and BitBay Client have been released.  Your updated QT Wallet and BitBay Client will be seamlessly integrated with the Proof of Stake 3.0 upgrade on the 21st.

Download the required update for your Windows, Mac, or Linux system by visiting the BitBay.Market Download (http://bitbay.market/downloads/) page.  The Blockchain download (bootstrap) can be found there also.

Setting up your router with Port Forwarding (port 19914) will increase your node count and improve your connection.  Your router may already automatically open the port using uPnP (universal plug and play), but if not, here are some instructions to walk you through the process.

Is this the final wallet which includes the decentralised market and smart contract,s wallet with the rolling peg? Or will this just a stop gap before this is released?

It's not the complete wallet yet, however it's had decentralized markets and custom smart contracts for over 2 years now.
The current version will allow us to transition to POS 3.0 on the 21st of January.

After that the next update will be including a voting system, timelock coins, cold staking in the client, and others.

After that David will complete last 4 smart contract templates.

Nice archive on remembering those screenshots. We need to do some training vids with the templates when done ... im thinking film both peers

Bittrex is in the process of updating, and C-cex will do so soon.
Make sure you do too if you hold any Bay
