Unable to add checking account to Coinbase

Hey guys, so I have an account with Coinbase and I am only able to add my savings account as a payment method. When I select my checking account, the error "This bank account is invalid. Please contact support if this is a mistake." comes up. I've contacted support about this, and they have not responded.

You need to be in the states I believe if you want to have this option available to your account.
I don't think they allow anybody outside the states to do this on your account.
I don't know I don't have one but know this from what I hear from reading other threads in the past about their service.
