Hi ,

I am new in the mining zone for altcoins . I am interested in mining zcash / XMR / DASh or any other

I tried finding the Asrock motherboard and other Riser Cable to attach maximum of 6 GPU's but , unable to find any and when I did find it's overpriced
and it's a scrap based parts so , I really don't think wasting my time in that more in that and go look for somebody in china .

So , below is the configuration I was thinking to invest in . My perspective isn't mining , it's gaming too .

Based on my research throughout the market , I was able to find a better motherboard to hold 4 GPU at once ( without riser cable )

Motherboard - Gigabyte SOC force
RAM - 32 GB
4 GPU - Sapphire RX 480 8 GB
Processor - i7 6850 k
SSD - 500 GB

The motherboard is best for overclocking . Need your suggestions whether it's wrong or right !

Not good.. No need of such huge computer resource. i7, 32 GB, 500Gb SSD not required. go for dual core least processor. 4gb ram, 60GB ssd. Rest of money you invest in more GPU or a separate gaming machine.

4 GPUs on Motherboard is also not good. because GPUs produce lot of heat and require 1 inch spacing between them to dissipate heat. which is not possible if you put 4 cards on motherboard as i imagine. And also motherboard will be overheated or fried providing power from PCIe to 4 GPUs while mining. better to get powered usb raisers. i can help you find raisers from china on aliexpress and can order yourself. MOtherboard i suggest otherthan Gigabyte, MSI Gaming G5 or G7 with 7 pcie slots.any more help welcome.

Motherboard  https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z97-GAMING-5.html#hero-overview

Normal cabinet doesent work here.. you need to assemble your own open frame with wood or pvc.. and Gpu fans.. you have to choose a better PSU (or SMPS) according to total power required for mining..

Thanks a ton sir ,

The video you just shared , the author of the video using 16 GB of RAM and i7 processor . He said he wanted to do CPU mining as well .
Did you tried CPU mining and is it worth to give it a try ?

and after connecting and making the setup do we have to use proper driver which supports 7 graphic card altogether or something different to run ?

and about Asrock motherboard , the both recommended version aren't available in the market because i guess i am too late in the mining process
i have been looking for these 2 model Asrock H81 Pro btc and H97 Anniversary and I did find it on amazon but way to high priced .

I am up for whichever is the best and get the best output and consumes less power though .

After successfully implementing 1 complete rig up and running . I can afford to go for 2 more rigs and that's my limit there .

and about mining . I am not interested in ether mining at all and rather go for zcash , DASH , verticoin i believe

dehradhun sir

what about you ?

and i do find some bugs where people are complaining about the OS getting crashed twice or thrice and unable to identify the cars in windows as there OS .

Did you face these problems as well ?

and can you recommend some tweaks to fix it or drivers to be used !

I am up for whichever is the best and get the best output and consumes less power though .

After successfully implementing 1 complete rig up and running . I can afford to go for 2 more rigs and that's my limit there .

and about mining . I am not interested in ether mining at all and rather go for zcash , DASH , verticoin i believe

so , you recommend asrock 81 pro btc motherboard over z97 msi gaming 5 ?

and about the graphic card - Rx 480 8 GB OR RX 470 , which will be best ?

Thanks a ton sir ,

The video you just shared , the author of the video using 16 GB of RAM and i7 processor . He said he wanted to do CPU mining as well .
Did you tried CPU mining and is it worth to give it a try ?

and after connecting and making the setup do we have to use proper driver which supports 7 graphic card altogether or something different to run ?

and about Asrock motherboard , the both recommended version aren't available in the market because i guess i am too late in the mining process
i have been looking for these 2 model Asrock H81 Pro btc and H97 Anniversary and I did find it on amazon but way to high priced .

check this vid   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWVyutw3hZk     and also see following videos to get some idea how GPU rigs are built.. cheers

Motherboard Asrock H97 Anniversary will work and have 6 Pcie slots

I'm from Machilipatnam, Andhra pradesh my friend.

Dont worry about software, OS , drivers.. everything will go well.. There is plenty of help you will find around this forum. Even i'm also a noob before i started mining a few months ago. most of things i learned here. only thing is keep patience and work (search/read) around problems. you have to go through lot of reading (people discussing problems and finding ways to overcome them). lot of good people around here.. Good luck.

I would like to know about the configuration and the price and the total cost of running the rig as well as the profit that can be attained with it. My worries are the electricity charges and how to manage the sound and heat coming out of it.Like to know about it in details.

For 1.35L you get a rig with 6 X RX 470 doing 164Mh/s consuming 770W total in an enclosed 4U server type case with 3 CM casefans. Will post pictures here if interested.
