I think poloniex is safer than yobit.net. In general I dont trust chinese exchanges, I think all chinese exchangers are heavily manipulated, we shouldn't be using them... maybe im a conspiracy theorist but thats what I feel. We should stick to other exchange when possible.

Also you shouldn't keep your bitcoins in exchanges long enough that the question if its or not safe even matters.

Poloniex is better, also for mobile trading interface. But out there are lots of great exchange, Bitfinex interface is stunning!

I have been using poloniex for some time now and I think their very nice and ok for mobile trading. One think I like them for is fast deposit and withdrawal. I do make random order for withdrawal and poloniex never fails to send my bitcoin to my wallet. For yobit I have never try to trade with them but friends has said a lot of good things about them. Please let keep faith with them as this is were we earned income.

I really do not consider Yobit as a exchange in the first place ,you have far better places to trade than Yobit as it is filled with all the scam coins in the crypto world and only Yobit has those coins in the first place and some of the coins like waves cannot be deposited and they have a different price than the normal market and you call that an exchange.Select exchanges according to the coins you are trading,poloniex is one of the best exchanges .

A few months ago, for Bitcoin/Fiat trading, I would say coinbase, but right now I'm not sure if it's the best option, because I do not know if they've solved the legal issues they've recently been involved in. For altcoins, I think poloniex is the best alternative, I don't know any better exchange for altcoins. But if you don't want to use poloniex, bittrex seems to be a good one.

I would say that poloniex is safer than yobit.net, i also like the mobile interface of poloniex a lot more.

A lot of people are saying that yobit is scamming, i dont think so,
but when you have the choise then i would everytime choose poloniex it is one of the biggest exchanges.

I know and also there was some threads opened about yobit that people had withdrawal problems, I don't say that they are bad but I prefer poloniex because I know they are US based and that makes them more safer to my mind.
At least if you are going to trade with altcoins, use poloniex and if you want bitcoin trading, than there are better places than that two.

Well I used both and I'd be less critical toward Yobit. Yobit is cool and on average a very good site I think. They are invested in cryptocurrencies in general.
But Polionex is more... Professional I'd say? It's a cleaner design and easier and smoother to use.
Yobit has the hand concerning altcoin trading. They're clearly the best there.
So if only bitcoin, I suppose that Polionex is slightly better.
But Yobit isn't that bad :3

People open more threads against yobit than poloniex so I would choose poloniex without thinking twice.
But being real none of exchanges are safe 100% so keep your coins as less as possible in exchange(s).

as others have already said, between these two i also suggest poloniex.
try to stay away from yobit because it is shady and there are lots of problems with their service.
and there are a lot more exchange out there you can try.

DDoS happens for any site, but the safety of exchanges is more serious than that.
they get hacked!
you can search and find it in the history about exchanges that were hacked and ran away like Cryptsy, MtGox, Bter, Bitfinex (this last one was hacked but stayed)

well as i said you will have a hard time and poloniex is a pretty heavy site to load even on computer.

try using a bot or a different kind of service only through their API if you had trouble with any of the websites.

Jumping from yobit to poloniex is a big leap indeed, one thing I don't like about polo is that they are not accepting registering from all countries unlike yobit, I'd also would recommend c-cex and cryptopia because I've done many deposits and withdraws without problem so far.
You know there are so many good and reliable mobile friendly exchanges out there and they just need more and better advertising.

Yobit and polo are both safe but you need to decide for yourself and just keep your funds in offline wallets after finished trading.

Hey, I will just tell you, no online exchange can be 100% safe as those that have been hacked in the past were adjudged to have been the safest before the hacking took place and the funny thing is that no one to hold the exchange site responsible when the funds is eventually lost. So, I will suggest you only keep little funds on the exchange sites and your other funds to secure location like desktop wallet.

i will give the best option which is poloniex because poloniex have large member, really active people in the market, have many good altcoins list that you can buy, and its mobile. but in yobit, you can doing trade with low price depend on the poloniex and its good for new people in the trading.

As you saw most of people will be recommend you using poloniex exchanger for trading so my vote also going to it.You truly must have good experienced after trying this exchanger coz it's secure and safety.Poloniex already proved themself that's why large number of people recommend them.

The moment that you decided to trade with your mobile, Yobit is clearly out of your choice because it is not mobile

friendly so go for poloniex which has a good mobile interface but trading using your mobile is not very

recommendable so as much as possible do it with your Desktop. DDOS attacks happen all around the globe even

popular sites like twitter, reddit etc have also been affected of course Yobit and poloniex too but they are able to

withstand it so I think almost all high profile sites are prepared for it.

Well yeah also the support of yobit is not so good but even i am promoting them for me it still good to trade there and they are still active.. and they are still resolving any issue delay but they are still doing it and fix..
Poloniex is one of the good trading site that you can also start a lend business and i think they can help you to make more profit. i can not say it is safe but poloniex are giving good security for your account and for your lending..

I will go for Poloniex nothing against Yobit I just prefer Poloniex due to the trade volume, I will advice you to look for a new platform to trade with, there was a research conducted last year that shows that 90% of mobile apps are susceptible to attack, so if the exchange was not hack your mobile might be hacked
