This board can support 5 cards. PCIe ports backward compatible. Difference between 2.0 and 3.0 in bandwidth, but it is insignificant for mining.

Can you physically fit five cards though?
Depending on the width of the card I think you could definitely fit three, but I think the size of the GPU would be the main factor.

Are you serious? 5 GPU?

IMO this is just supporting multiple GPU.

Hi,

I am bit confused by the following two statements:

FIRST:
====

Can you physically fit five cards though?
Depending on the width of the card I think you could definitely fit three, but I think the size of the GPU would be the main factor.
IMO this is just supporting multiple GPU.

SECOND:
======

Are you serious? 5 GPU?
IMO this is just supporting multiple GPU.

Please let know the difference between "physically fitting multiple GPUs" and "just supporting multiple GPUs".

Thank you in anticipation.

Do not pay attention, this board supports 5 GPU. You can use risers to position cards at required distance. My wish better buy Pro BTC board.

Hi,

If it supports 5 GPUs (physically fit) at the same time then its OK  Smiley

By Pro BTC, which one do you mean?

a) ARRock H81 Pro BTC
b) ARRock H61 Pro BTC
c) other, please specify

Regards,

Rizwan

They are both good, it depends on the CPU that u wanna use. I usually stick with he h81.

You cannot fit 5GPU on the board directly, but you can use 1x risers and use 6GPU at a time

I don't have a entire mining rig but my MO supports.

- PCI Express x16 3.0
- PCI Express x1 2.0

But i have another PC with the same MO. So i'll support 4 Video Cards, i will buy this year a good Motherboard for mining like Intel H81 Pro.

No, but the first version is becoming harder & harder to find. Both work well.
