If today was your last day, would you gamble everything?

So, I heard the song from Nickelback titled "if today was your last day?"

I thought if today was my last day, would I gamble everything since I wouldn't have any use for this money when I die.

My answer was no at the time. Because I was thinking about my family, especially my kid. What would he eat tomorrow, if I lose everything? Then again, what if I win from just one yolo bet? Like bet every penny I have in one bet. What if I win that and give my kid twice what I could give.

What do you guys think?

If i am only alone, without kids, so I can do that. I will gamble such with great amount to win in an easiest way. So i can hold my profit to anyone i loved, I mean family.
If i have such a big family with kids. I do not gamble. I will give all my money to them.

Well so you are already in family well that is good if you do earn profit from gambling you will withddraw it and give it to your family so that you can buy some stuff well you are a gambler but not really addicted to gambling thats good. If today is my last day, I would spend it on entertainment and food that I love to eat. There is no point in gambling when you can't keep the money even if you win.
The most important thing is to make yourself happy and leave some money for descendants. Money is only useful when you can live to spend it.

The same with me, I will love to spend my day and my money with eating together with my love ones and other relatives that I used to become close. I don't think that it will be memorable if your last day will be spent for gambling, just take a good time with your family and have your unforgettable moments with them so when they remember you, you gave a very good day to them.

I would prefer to do something else instead of gambling. I would want to be with my family when I know I'm going to die, but Gambling is exciting. Well said, you are right for example the best cricketer he knows that day his last day, he feel like to play at least one last time. Not only cricketer, a football player, a Tennis player. Like that in which profession we love, in final days that all comes one time in our mind. The OP is asking same if you are a real gambler and you know it's your last day will you play for one last final time.

Definitely not. I gamble for my personal benefit and gain. When I would know that my life will end today,
I would rather gave all my money and valuable possession to others, my family and friends.
Gambling it away despite the fact that I won't be able to use money anymore seem totally stupid.

Gambling everything does not mean totally losing and since there is still someone to inherit it then I will say literally I am living beyond today so I won't gamble it away and to be on a safer side I will gamble part and leave the rest so if I lose the people to get the money won't be left empty handed.

Yes no one will think about this gambling in his last days. The gambling is just an entertainment part in everyone life. So last days everyone will like to spend time with their loved once and family members. No one will think about fun and entertainment parts. If we will not spend it, our family will get the benefits of our money, this discussion  gives me a little kind of reflection about our life in this world somehow. The thing is, we are too busy making a money that we forget to make a life, we should have a balance life as experience of happiness is very important, money should be spend to get its value. While saving is not bad, but don't forget you need to entertain yourself as well.

unless you really have a big problem with your addiction and you forget about your family maybe its the only thing why you will choose to gamble still even its the last day of your life, like what you have said who will benefits your winnings just in case you win, right? nothing will change the fact that its your last day so better to enjoy it with your love ones so they will have a happy memory from you.

Well I really am finding it difficult to answer cause being a passive gambler I would like to take that thrill one more time, feel the thrill of winning or loosing, get my senses refreshed.
