Hi,
A guy made ads for a "new lottery" and after I have made some research I proved he was a scam (if you're interested about that, his name is Benmoi, see there, in french: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=17227.0 )
So I looked at his posts and posted after him (in 3 differents threads) that he is a scam
Then I received this message from MoonShadow- (must be an admin but only MoonShadow exists though):
Quote
Hello

Statements which should not be generally offensive, be excessively repeated or have bad formatting (spam), contain forbidden advertising or political or religious views, not be non-English when English is required, disclose personal data of others, or support any other rule violation.

Proof can be seen at:
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

One more warning and your account might be banned.

So finally, what must we do when we spot a scam?
It's true that I should have warn an admin about that, but what happen until the messages are deleted? What if someone falls for it meanwhile?

PS: Due to header errors I can't see what is in the image in admin's pm, I hope it was about that

Edited: Apparently the pm was also a spam.... Wtf..... ( http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=17348.0 )
The question remains the same, if we spot a spam, can we report it on each thread it was posted without being reported ourselves?

This was definitely spam.  I received the same message.  I did not download the image as it wasn't an image at all, but rather a malicious payload.  Hope you didn't contract it....
