That is a nice idea for securing our username but there are hundreds of forums made for cryptocurrencies and on all of these securing our usernames are difficult. I think almost all of the currencies have their forums.

But still there is a point. If taskie get success then with their payment for posting people may feel interest in writing on that forum.

I have just registered with the same username as bitcointalk. I hope this forum will be a success even though I have experienced a lot of paid to post forum earlier also which has gone down within a month.

Since the post rates are reasonable and sustainable, I keep my good faith on it and will keep posting the progress from time to time.

Really taskie is a planning for big project where it should not give any change of defaming themselves in to black hole, they are in different way to make big changes in the altcoin industry with much more interacted way which be more beneficial to people who are going to use it. When you say platform, you mean forum script like vBulletin or phpbb?
I think there is a solution to which you wouldn't ned to start fresh but just import the database of the old forum to the newly installed forum either mybb or which ever forum script is being used for the new one.

Yes that is a good decison. But if your team take care from the start and do not allow the spammers on your forum then it will be a very informative platform for the users and you will not need to take another new start but you will have already a good amount of information in your forum.
