It seems like you're wanna be the blockchain expert. We are having the same purpose to be the blockchain experts. But I starting it for active read the in the various subsections.
I am a silent reader in the development and technical section.
franky can become the best teacher for this.
Yeah. I not only want to become a blockchain expert to further expand my knowledge, but to also help companies, businesses and banks whenever they need to setup their own blockchain solution.
Ever since I've found out about Bitcoin, I became deeply interested into blockchain technology. That is why I always make questions, to get answers and expand my knowledge. Hopefully, franky would be very helpful in helping me achieve this goal.
I would read all the work from Andreas Antonopoulos , mastering bitcoin is probably a good start, it goes pretty technical, then I would probably read cryptography books and other related books to crypto and not only blockchain stuff if you want to become a master. All the guys working in bitcoin have strong backgrounds in math cryptography etc...its a crazy field, I would never be able to do it.
Thanks mate. I have found out that Bitcoin is way more than a blockchain, which involves a wide array of subjects like cryptography, merklee trees, and others. It would be hard to get a grasp at all this to become an expert in Bitcoin and blockchain, but in the end it would be worth it.
Nevertheless, I'm looking to start a career in blockchain technology, sometime in the future.
I read a few books on Bitcoin, including:
Digital Gold by Nathaniel Popper
Virtual Billions by Eric Geissinger
However, they are mostly about the people who use Bitcoin, with little technical information.
I do, however, recommend this video series:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNcSSleedtfyDuhBvOQzFzQIt is very informative and technical, mentions things like smart contracts and PoS, but is a little outdated, so don't expect to find any mention of recent events.
Thanks a lot for these very useful resources. I'll be adding them up towards my list to further expand my knowledge about Bitcoin and its underlying technology.
As for the videos, I sometimes find it a better way to learn than reading books, as their visuals help a lot in understanding the subject better than just plain text.
Nevertheless, if you have more great stuff you'd like to share, then feel free to do so. I'm looking forward to learn more each day.
Thank you for your list of recommended books. I've started to read the Blockchain Revolution book, and so far it looks quite interesting as it explains how the trust protocol came and how it will change the world. Quite a good book for those who are new to blockchain, as well as those that have started studying it.
