I have $200 to spend on some Bitcoin, and I'm looking to buy in to this newfangled currency. Anyone selling some?
I'm willing to send the cash first if you have some rep, please post or send me a PM thanks!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Are you near San Diego County, CA, or have you ruled out all the traders on localbitcoins.com (not just local anymore)?

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.
