I am holding bitcoin since the price was 240$ and i did not sell it even at 1150$.i am still hoping one day it will reach 2k but not this year.I hate bitcoin price can be that easily manipulated.

i am not so sure about 2K and certainly not soon. but whenever there is a shakeout like this and it lasts long enough, that means that there are whales somewhere that are quietly accumulating cheap coins they get from these weak hands and when they are done accumulating the pumping begins.

Man 2k is looooooooong way from here. When it goes sub 700USD we will see some panic selling for sure  and we should be happy if it holds over 500 for a while

I've seen (and said) it before: every time Bitcoin's price goes up slowly, then drops quickly. It seems to "recover" a bit, then drops more. I can only assume it's a whale dumping, then pumping a bit to get more of other people's cash, and selling more.
In the end I wouldn't be surprised if the whale ends up with more cash, more Bitcoins, and just a lower price that takes a few months to reach the previous high.

I'm not selling, I'm not buying. I'm just enjoying the ride, although I enjoyed it more going up.

They exist. There are hundreds if not thousands of different Trading Robots out there using various algorithms and signals.

 Just look at the address with the most Bitcoins:

It's pretty obvious to me that they are acquiring their fortune by trading.

Look at their balance graph, and how they withdraw 5000 bitcoins and then deposit the profits.

Some one is saying in India it is $1080 per coin
In China they are saying they are stablizing it with this new postal bank of china allowing transfers with bitcoin.
This is all really confusing time right now and can not say for sure to buy or not.

I doubt we will ever see such low prices for bitcoin as 400-500$ again. Unfortunately New Years 1000$ wasn't so long, I have never thought that bitcoins price can drop under 900$ so fast.
