Ok,so bitcoin price is still falling.I don't know if it can still be considered correction or the fundamentals of bitcoin are broken BUT one thing i believe is sure that big bitcoin holders/whales can easily F**K weak hands.People who hold small amount of bitcoins gets panic and start selling there bitcoins and due to less popularity of bitcoin price falls and whales make nice profit and due to all this we hear in Media that "bitcoin is crashing again" stories.Don't you think it spreads negativity of bitcoin?What can be done to overcome this? Proper and widespread adoption is really the only thing. There still isn't a great deal of that. Also, most 'real' buying especially for first timers does not take place on exchanges. They'll go to a buying service like Coinbase or Localbitcoins. This leaves the long term residents of the exchanges firmly in control of the price.

on the occation of china controlling bitcoin, Maybe they can make the price down deeply then They will cover cheap price again. it looks the same as the year of 2013 .

I can't see bitcoin price is falling. It's just decreasing but can't be compare to the view of a fallen one. Some people didn't able to take advantage of the recent price increase rally and the current trend of price decrease resulting into a regret. That is one of the reason I saw why other people hate the current trend and began worrying about the price decrease that is happening today.

Bitcoin is really not meant for weak hands. No way we can just achieved only what we want. In the world of volatility, we must play with it rather than to increase those regrets.

it's very simple for whales, most of them probably bought bitcoin at $100 or less, to hype the price and play their games. For the rest the bitcoin is a good investment for the far future.

Embrace the dip rather than stressing yourself. If loss then make up another batch of new actions on how you will deal with the current price trend. After all bitcoin was designed to lasts for a lifetime so surely those loss made due to current price decrease will be covered up as we are progressing.

Weak hands are always there so better deal with it. Whales and hodlers are part of the system since bitcoin trading was made.

I know it rose higher, but didnt take the risk....

Not everyone will agree with me, but I would say it was something all of us expected it even though our dreams are only bitcoin's price goes up. Last days before the end of 2016 we observed bitcoin to win about 25% of its annual growth due to the devaluation of the Chinese yuan and the imposed capitals control. After a few days price stabilized at about 880-920 USD till today we see a sharp decline particularly in chinese market. If there is not a major intervention from Chinese government the big players sell to buy after that as much low as possible. Imo it is a chance someone has money and bought high $900-$1000 or even higher that now might be best time to buy so as to reduce the loss.

There's no other way to avoid massive price swings but having a massive marketcap. Gold doesn't have those big flash crashes because the market is too thick to cut it like the current bitcoin price. The graph looks a god damn cliff for god sakes. You can't do this within an asset that has a big marketcap.

So Bitcoin is the best money ever, it just lacks the marketcap so it's not as manipulable and volatile.

Till there's no big step that's taken with regards to the bitcoin market, till then we'll only see the prices being affected in a drastic way. Just a small step of the Chinese Govt and the price falls by $50 which is really bad if we consider bitcoin as an investment opportunity.


If the Government atleast helps in accepting this currency or giving it some kind of license, there won't be such big manipulations and we can atleast have some kind of assurance that the price won't fall by 50%.

What I loved about Bitcoin the past couple of years is that, while the price has gone up, the volatility has gone down.

Many of us don't hate Bitcoin. We recognize its flaws and hate the communities delusion and greed that prevents it from actually growing to address these problems. As long as bitcoin doesn't scale or offer good privacy and fungibility it fundamentally cannot sustain a high value ($500+). That has nothing to do with anyone hating bitcoin and everything with what is technically and economically sustainable.

well for some reason i love this fluctuations as we see downfall and bounce back its true that more and more whales are playing with us so we better to assess wisely and join them the more we got matured with this investment the more we understand the flow i guess that media exposure will also help bitcoin to gather more attention and another newcomers will be interested to learn about this system and we will see them investing too.

I also hate when the price of bitcoin in manipulation. but, I think a lot of people who take advantage of it. I also do not want to see the price of bitcoin down very quickly, because we have long been waiting for a high price. but I believe, in the near future, bitcoin prices will definitely rise again.
