Hi i am in the middle of a trade right now and it is taking too long because i messed up with a low transaction fee.  It's urgent as the price of bitcoin is falling pretty fast and I am willing to pay quite a bit of money to have this problem solved if someone could forward the transaction.  The transaction ID is: 0a7e4110b66f97e264219b04511a2ef4df8a767d863cd35dd113b7dce973e20e-000

Well yes you have putted a low fees you must've sent your transaction with at least 0.005 or 0.003, 0.001 is a bit low however what I am seeing is that your transaction will get confirm within an hour no need to panic.
And i hope that you will not lose more money.

I hope as it has been 3 and a half hours and still not one confirmation and the price is falling pretty fast.  If it does not confirm in the next hour I am willing to pay someone quite a bit to speed up the transaction.

I don't think so that anyone could do that I checked it and you have many outputs and only 2 inputs.
However your transaction size is 3173 (bytes) which means you have to put 0.003173 fees but you have only put 0.0013992 so you are short of 0.0017738 but that's nothing I have sent many transactions with only 0.0001 and more then 1000 (bytes) and they get confirm in 2-3 blocks.
Lets hope that miner finds your transaction soon.

Next time always use 100 satoshis/byte.

When you are making transaction of so huge amount of money, to my mind it will be better if you'll sacriface 0.005 bitcoin as a transaction fee to feel yourself more secure without many nervous. Maybe that transaction will be confirmed in some hours or in worst situation in some days but If the network has forgotten about the transaction and your wallet is not re-broadcasting it, it may never confirm.

No. Do not use a fixed fee rate. If your wallet supports dynamic fees, always use dynamic fees. If your wallet does not support dynamic fees, I recommend that you switch to one that does.

OP, you have a few options. You can wait and hope it either confirms or the network "forgets" about it, contact a miner and ask them to help you, or attempt an RBF double spend transaction.

For the second option, you can contact the users Quickseller and macbook-air as they have helped users with this before.

For the third option, we need to know what wallet you are using as it is wallet dependent and also requires some technical skills.

Right now its the best option, But it is hard to know the size of transactions before sending. But I will recommend using of 0.005 as fees for such transactions with such big volume.
I'm using Blockchain.info new wallet which automatically changes the transaction fees according to the size of transaction I don't know how much accurate it is but my transaction never been in low priority and the fees is always perfect.

Again, as I said, use dynamic fees. Fixed fees and fixed fee rates, while they may be applicable now, are not always applicable. In the future you may end up paying too much or too little, depending on the transaction itself and the current state of the network. The wallet is smarter than you and does statistical analysis of previously confirmed transactions to determine the optimal fee rate. The wallet also knows how big the transaction will be because that is something that can be calculated given the number of inputs and outputs for the transaction, information that the wallet knows. Again, use the dynamic fees, do not use fixed fees or fixed fee rates, and please stop recommending that people do that.

Yes I am aware how bad I fucked up. The problem is I started the trade to sell my coins and by the time I realised I didn't leave enough bitcoins in my wallet to send a high transaction fee it was to late.  I am using bitcoin core wallet if that is of any help.

These are the instructions for making an RBF double spend. You will be essentially resending the transaction but with a higher fee.

Go to the transactions tab. Right click on the transaction in question and choose the option "Abandon Transaction". Then just make the transaction again but this time include a higher fee. Before  you send, click the "Choose..." button next to "Transaction Fee" and choose the "Recommended" option. Then move the slider to the end labeled fast. This will set the transaction fee to be the highest so that it will confirm as quick as possible.

Maybe you do not have enough BTC's left in your Core wallet to make another send with higher fees? Is that the case?
Good luck! Smiley

i made a mistake withdrawing from cryptonator by clicking all amount... and the transaction went out with too low fees. viabtc acceleration says too low fees to take it in the consideration. I tried sending multiple other transactions to same receiver with very high fees... but the miners didn't confirmed the large one aswell. i wrote to cryptonator support maybe they can help.. and asked viatc support if i can pay a fee to take my transaction into consideration.... but so far no answer.

i cant double spend since i dont have another 10k in btc right now.

any ideas pls?

thx

I have just attempted to accelerate your transaction via "AntPool"... theoretically, when they next mine a block, your transaction should get a confirmation.

For future reference... you don't execute a "Child Pays For Parent" by sending new transactions TO the same receiver. You need to spend one of the outputs from the stuck transactions ie. you need to be a receiver from the first transaction, and spend one of the unconfirmed transaction outputs with a MASSIVE fee to get a miner to include both transactions.

Your transaction was mined in a block by AntPool... and now has 3 confirmations... you're welcome Wink

And they don't generally accept transactions with such low fees... so be more careful with your fees next time Tongue

that's the whole point to fees. miners wont mine it if u pay 2 low fees. mine was an accident, sending with low fees is a some sort of "abuse". i guess u can send it with low fees (minimum) and accelerate it... but thats...

You should not attempt to do this unless you really know what you're doing... and the risks involved. There is a very real potential to get all your coins stuck in limbo for a long period of time if you get it wrong.

Besides, if you have "big amounts" what is a hundred thousand satoshis in fees? Just pay a decent fee... get your transaction confirmed quickly... be happy Wink
