If you want to see your transactions confirming on rocket speed, you should ready to spend fees!
Since your amount is low and you don't wanna spend fees than better do small transactions with web wallets like Coinbase or Xapo. They have zero fees and transactions generally confirm in 20-40 minutes.

How is this false information? 10 cents is the lowest fee for an international payment system. If you find a cheaper system then use it, cheapskate.

This has been happening for the last two years, bitcoin still alive despite all the problems when transacting and increased fees without any guarantee of quick and successful transaction or without any increase in user experience.

And there's a simple fix for your problem, change coin, there are a lot of popular and actively traded coins out there, just choose one.

its not a common problem its actully rare..(it happens with every 1 of 10 transaction maybe) it happened with me around 1.5month ago i dont remembered the exact date but its because of 2 reasons
1 . you payed a low price and 2. your transaction block got some wrong hashes and its stuck on the network like a trafic jam

I agree with this and you got it right man because putting average fees wont really hurt you at all and if OP dont like on waiting times then its better to pay the recommended fees or even higher so confirmation times wont be long.This thing doesnt really make bitcoin fall and it really doesnt affect much IMHO.

Just start using a decent web wallet, and you will have no such issues (and no need to pay any fees either)

The reason why OP made this thread is because he didn't pay a normal fee. Also, for some reason, the thread title is very over-exaggerated. Sending bitcoin without the normal fee will cause transactions to be very slow. It's like in a business, would someone rather serve the client paying more, or less?

It's a mining business certainly. But it is where the business is working against the common good and ultimately against itself as well as profits it might earn in the future. In this case, it looks more like miners deliberately not including transactions which have no fees and not enough fees even though there is plenty of room in the block they find and it costs them virtually nothing to add this transaction to the block...

I don't even mention rogue miners who chose not to confirm any transactions at all (with or without fees)

All wallets are suggesting high fees if you have enabled dynamic fees in order to make the transaction confirm faster. In Electrum for example which is my day to day wallet of use ,I use the maximum fee and I do not regret it. The convenience of bitcoin is nothing compared to even high fees (and by high fee I consider 0.36 USD) for a 24 USD transaction which is nothing to me and many other bitcoin users.

You just need to see the bright part and do not consider it as something limiting you.

Bitcoin is the only mode of payment that works without fee also although it takes more time in confirmation compared to a transaction with good fee.
Which payment method allows you to tranfer your money without any fee?

so true . bitcoin developments now make users more inclined to use it every day. but any use bitcoin certainly has an impact that can not be predicted. we have to be precise in their use. there will be a shortage and there will be drawbacks.

OP has a transaction that has a low fee (by the current standard of the fee market battle) and that is why he is getting a low priority to be included in a block.

you say two things here:
- double spend, has nothing to do with how slow or fast you get a confirmation.
- your red text of "status coinbase" show the status of the site coinbase which shows if it is online or offline! again has nothing to do with either double spend or with low fees and fast confirmation.

Well It happened to me and my friends the confirmation took more than 24 hours but we are still here. Long confirmation doesnt really happen all the time. Sometimes if we are in a hurry place a big miners fee so that you will get a high priority and transactions will be processed faster. As a merchant in bitcoin I include miners fee to the items that I am selling so as to not be burdened by the fees.

it is one of the problem that bitcoin had, the slow transaction had been a complaint and become the number one problem for local store to adapt bitcoin, hopefully this issue can be fixed, but my transaction seldom took a long time to confirm usually not more than 2 hours, but if bitcoin transaction can go faster for sure there will be more user

Confirmation may not cause bitcoin to die but it may be one of the major reason why Bitcoin won't be accepted by majority as mode of payment especially in offline stores.  This is also one of the biggest challenge of developer that is why there is this unresolve argument about creating a faster confirmation bitcoin.

Ok my transaction stucked because I payed low fees at the time of transaction it was 0.08 USD worth Bitcoin just  0.02 USD less in 0.1 USD so that doesn't mean that my transaction should not be processed. If someone paying $0.1 as fees and his transaction processed within half an our or 1 to 2 hours maximum than I paid just 0.02 less so my transaction should be processed within 8-10 hours but its almost 24 hours passed and no signal confirmation yet.
what do say about this?
