if we don't make it hold just for stability sake then this is the end.
stop panicking and thinking about short term profits.
just start buying 1 / .5 bitcoin.
the more we have many individuals willing to buy just a bit the better it will be for everyone.
get your short term "profits" out of your mind

that's not how the market works, dude.

people will buy when they feel comfortable with the price. bitcoin will not 'fail' but we may drop below the old all-time high.

this sentence has fifteen words, seventy-four letters, four commas, one hyphen, and a period.

bitcoin will fail because the whole world will see it is FAR worse than having cash or other assets when they can be  super easily manipulated by a few, when BOTS fully control the prices and when you lost ACCESS to 80% of all transaction/exchange capability.
yes, there will be bitcoins. but, who the hell would take them seriously.
all the problems it was trying to solve are in fact being created.
sometimes 1 bad publicity stunt kills a great idea. happens way too often.

and i do mean that people should just buy 1 bitcoin to keep trust going in it (not in mtgox) not too "speculate" on price volatility unless that's the only concern

Let me put it this way - bitcoin will work even if it costs $1 per coin. So no, you don't have to save it as it will be fine anyway, so don't buy, let all the people who need money ASAP or who believe we are going to single digits sell first. Then I'll buy. And not 1 Smiley

superduh, you've been here since June 2011. you know one scandal doesn't kill bitcoin. we may continue to slide but i'd be really surprised to even actually see single digits. too many strong hands.
