I think I remember that thread. That was probably specifically talking about currency conversion tools like Google's or XE.com (which is still most likely true regarding ISO). As awesome as it is to see Bitcoin put up on CNBC like this, remember that it's *MTGOX* that they're showing, which is awesome in so many ways but opens up entirely new concerns at the same time.

American broadcaster Max Keiser, a former Wall Sreet stock broker and inventor of the technology behind web-based game Hollywood Stock Exchange told CNBC.com that he was providing consulting for a new exchange to be set up in London.
"The 'market making' design for [Mt.Gox] is weak; as is the case across all the bitcoin exchanges. This is where we'll see some new initiatives - many are already in the pipeline," he said.
"I'm consulting on a project now in London with some excellent people who are part of what I would call the core bitcoin community of developers and financiers and it looks to be very exciting."

Unfortunately it is not updated often or well.  They still have the 1:30pm price four hours later.  It is a start though.

Even Ben Bernanke is eventually going to have to acknowledge Bitcoin is a force to be reckoned with if CNBC of all people are acknowledging it, seeing him talk about it as if he understands it is going to make my day.
