Transaction Seen by 3 Peers, Not Seen in Chain ??

MultiBit sees my incoming transaction and says that 3 peers see it, but it isn't seen in the chain. How can this be? I understand a block hasn't been created yet that includes it, but how can it not be part of the chain and not be seen by blockchain.info for example.

The number of peers seeing it hasn't increased either. I'm wondering why this transaction is different than others I've seen.
