Hello there

First time here...need little help

I was new to bitcoin..thought it is cool to have some just in case..and bought some and litecoins

Now...I have 2.25 bitcoin in my wallet that i haven't checked read opened for like over 2 years...119 weeks to be precise
I get the message this is outdated ,no more alerts and to download new one...something like that

Right now it is like syhroniszing and i am like 68 weeks behind..at this rate it is gonna take like till the end of months maybe more to be "up to date"

Anyways..few questions..

Do i have to wait till it finishes to transfer bitcoins to my wallet on smartphone.
If i update..is there a chance bitcoin will be delated  somehow

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks!

You should probably update your client. What version do you have?

It's best practice to wait for it to finish updating, although you can broadcast a transaction straight away. You can also export your private keys and import them in your smartphone if you wish to "migrate" these coins instantly.

Also, if you have 2.25BTC you should probably send most of them to paper wallets or even a hardware wallet, smartphones can be hacked or stolen too easily ,this is a large amount of bitcoin, dollar value is $1804.09.
I have instructions for paper wallets posted here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1559277.msg17075677#msg17075677
Wait for it to synch, be patient, do not visit any shady websites, and try not to delete any files.
EDIT:
Also, ask for advise from multiple users and read about bitcoin yourself before broadcasting any transactions.
Remember, your coins are very valuable, and you should not trust me to not mess something up.

If you don't have sole and complete control over the private keys, you don't have any bitcoin!  Signature campaigns are OK, zero tolorance for spam!

I think before buying them you should have done your research on bitcoin wallets.
Anyway, you may not need to use them and instead just update to the newest version of bitcoin core - from: https://bitcoin.org/en/download.
It is suggested you use some sort of "cold storage" like a paper wallet whcih can be made from your bitcoin-qt.exe software.

You have three different bitcoin addresses because there have been two (or more) transactions done into your wallet.
If each of those addresses have only had few transactions, at the cost of ~0.002BTC you could always import your "private keys" into an electrum wallet then you don't have to wait for it to syncronise.

(NOTE: you may need to resynchronise with the network once you have upgraded the software.
