I wouldn't recommend him anything, he probably wants to know where he could send as goods and services in order to chargeback because sending as gift will make things harder for him.

Are you saying that you would buy using paypal or are you implying something else. If you would be buying using paypal then everything you want and need is a good thing to buy as almost everything can be bought using Paypal. So I guess that answers your question, buy whatever you want!
