Where can I find someone who can analyze an altcoin's source code to check for any faults, as well as tell me the specifics of how it's staking works. I need to make sure the code is clean without any unknown functions. I am willing to pay BTC.

There was a member whose name I completely forgot (sorry) who used to analyze random coins in detail and share his findings (on github) and made notes on what was done right and wrong.

If you don't trust the developer (probably a stranger for you), why you can trust another stranger who analyze the source code for you?

I think the best way is to learn how the code works by yourself.

I suspect the references were to earlz, he maintained the assessments in a github repos but I believe he's pursuing other aims these days.

In the case of zero responses you may be obliged to perform this analysis personally.

What you are asking for is a very in depth process. You are better off hiring someone trustworthy to make it for you instead

I believe these services are very costly. It was reported that zcash spent $250,000. Its probable better to start with a trusted developer. Besides if its open source on github if there is something in there, sooner or later somebody will find it. Good luck!

I think the best way is to learn how the code works by yourself.

 This is the established custom nowadays that the hire a developer to development your product, and hiring another developer to review the code of this product final.

There is a guy running pools called ocminer who reviews any coin's source code that he's considering adding to a pool. He frequently makes posts about anything dodgy in a new coin's code. He would probably take payment for deeper source code analysis than the analysis he often provides for nothing.

All the "magic" is i'm encrypting miner traffic over https instead of using plaintext http..

So I was basically doing 2 years ago what claymore does now with his miners - encrypting traffic between miner and pool. Of course I cannot giveaway the encryption key because it's the key that secures the connection

The premine is huge and using walletbuilders proves that you're not able to clone a coin yourself which should be the minimum for anyone launching a coin. You won't be able to fix when forks will happen etc..

Biggest WTF: only 100 PoW blocks?!? Either you have a trojan in the wallet or you want to turn your ridiculous 19% premine into an effective 99%.
