Hi friends!

I have an application where my miner may experience frequent power cycles (electrical circuit shut off then on) up to several times a week, on occasion several times a day.

Should I be concerned? Can this result in damage to the miner?

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

A clean surge free power on and off should be ok.
If you have auto tune firmware boot up will take a while.

Turning Miners on and off frequently is never really good.
Better to leave them running continually where possible.
