Hi all,

Messing around with some GPUs here for intrigue more than anything.
A few basic questions, as I'm running GuiMiner and have hooked up with Slush's Pool for now.

I note you can only select 1 device per GUIMiner client.

At the moment i have 3 GUIMiners running each with a different GPU selected as the device.
Concerning the login when pool mining, is it better to have multiple clients all logged into the same username/password, or would it be better to have a seperate login for each GPU?

Thanks in advance guys and girls.

Depends.  If the cards are unstable you want a separate miner for each GPU so if one goes offline you will be notified.  Obviously people with huge farms like me don't have 200 logins.  If you don't need to babysit the cards, just have them mine all on one miner login.

you can have multiple devices in guiminer. just go to the top and pick new opencl miner, presto you get a new tab. set it up, pick the other hardware.

use the summary tab to watch them all.

This! Helps with your backup pools too, don't need to double or triple my workers.

workers usually come with stats, so you can group your gpu's in clusters and monitor them on work logins and see graphs etc.

I only have 2 machines running, so I use 2 different username/passwords.  That way I can check to make sure they are both up and running easier when I'm on the go.

I think snare rolls should be used as a currency.
