I have certainly never took out a loan to gamble to cover up for more debt, however I have made a lot of stupid decisions that involved gambling my funds over the years with bitcoin.

I still remember once I needed to pay for something I wanted, I had 80% of the money in my wallet sitting there ready to be converted into fiat and buy the laptop. I was due to get paid at the end of the week. But I went on to gamble the money anyways because I wanted that laptop sooner. obviously, I lost.

Yes, it's their way to gamble and have fun while thinking of earning some good money. Never been experienced that kind of situation before. If I have money then I will go and buy that laptop and will not risk the money on gambling. Although I have situations also that I gamble money that is supposed to used to something else. I used the money because I know I'm expecting some money to come to my bank. Unfortunately, I lost the money and when its time to re-pay, it was delayed for a few days because the money in my bank didn't come in time. Additional 3 days is needed, so its worst experience for me.

Yes, it's their way to gamble and have fun while thinking of earning some good money. But if ever they will going to do this type of gambling for sure in the end they are the ones that will suffer the problem. You do not need to win all the time, you just need to win a big amount of money and then enjoy your winning, whatever you do with your winnings it's up to you. If you had a huge capital then you can make a huge amount too by playing gambling.  Those who can make a good profit with gambling is those who can afford to lose big gambling is worst income money because you can't really assured and guaranteed your profit.

I believe these are just the mythological approach of gambling, not the realistic one.

Gambling will never give you profit regardless of how much huge capital you will be having, only the excuse like you missed something or bad time worked just before your performance like that something will come finally instead of finding profits. No where can find guaranteed profits, particularly with gambling it is not at all guaranteed.

Why should I use any excuses to gamble?! Im a grown-up person and I can do whatever I decide with my own money. Everything is OK if its a reasonable boundaries. And many stuff should be considered as gambling as well. 

yeah but the problem are op asking for specific case when you gamble push the limit and force yourself to use a 'hot' money as you have something to pay soon. gambling in that situation always be a shortcut option to solve the problem. but instead your problem get solved it's just getting worse most of the times.

I think OP is asking if we had an experience where we crossed the border and use the money that is not our to fill our needs to gamble.


Honestly I almost do that, where I was tempted to use the money to bet on some game.  But luckily the idea of being shamed due to my act stop me from doing it.  After realizing, I rushed to go home and give the money to my mum.

It is never a great Idea to spend something that is not ours.  Does not even qualify as good and labeled as bad actually.   Winning only saves you from being shamed, but it does not  justify as a great idea or being recommended using others money to gamble because the money is not yours and we do not have rights to use money that is not ours unless we are permitted to do so.
