Even though there was a massive dip, this was expected. A correction was in order after such a massive price spike. They only thing that matters is that bitcoin is worth much more than it was a year ago. Over all, bitcoin's value has steadily gone up since its inception, and it's gaining increasing legitimacy and support. I see no reason why people should stop holding, since the trend is a steady increase in value over the long-term.
I think the way to look at this we have moved from $600 pre-spike to $800 post-dip. That is a 30+% gain in less than a couple of months.
If we concentrate only at the current dip, we will be losing focus.
