Well there is no doubt blockchain is good but to say it's the best is a understatement. It's yet taking steps to glory. In few years it shall make its name in the history books. Though I wouldnt mind it if it's given in place in too. It's the best thing that has happened to humans, and it will be interesting to see the updates it will have in future. Maybe 2017 maybe the year when it will take up let's hope for the best.

I won't count blockchain among the greatest innivation, so far there is no large scale use of the tech. we are just hoping it will hit the real world use. Blockchain cannot be considered to have affected the world the way Electricity, Aircraft, Internet, Computer etc. have changed the world positively may be in future it will but not presently

That's true, we should wait until it proves itself. The Internet wasn't on the list in the 70s and 80s, when it was still used only by scientist and large corporations, and how many people use blockchain? Not even 1% of the population. To compare think how many people are using a fork or a spoon or a microwave? Also, like others have said, blockchain is only a tool for Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the one that deserves a place on that list.

i agree that bitcoin and the technology it introduces to all of us has been a great thing. it is obvious because so many people, a lot of big financial groups, ... has been showing great interest in the blockchain technology. but things like these are never recognized as big in their early stages. it takes time before everybody realizes their potential, do lots of test runs and then in 10 years from now everybody say yeah it is a big deal.

Digital age has got existed in certain parts of every country, with everything completely digitized. The same need to grown in the currency network too. Over the past card system made a great change in the banking which has been liked much by the people. Blockchain is indeed a great innovation, but what I don't like is how some are trying to make it seem like that is the only good thing of bitcoin and they try to only take that part out of it, bitcoin in itself is even greater than the blockchain in my opinion but they don't want to recognize it out of fear.

I think blockchain is a great innovation now people are finding more and more usage of it. From payment system, stock trading to housing market, basically anything with a contract can be done with blockchain which is more secure and tamper-proof.

I think this too. Blockchain brought many innovations to make people's lifes easier, I think this can be considered a great advance in the humanity society without doubts, like computers and internet, as OP said.
