As a speculator looking to earn an ROI on this venture I have some questions about from where the value of GUPs is derived. Is the idea that market demand for use of matchpool services will drive up the price of GUPs and thus return a profit for speculators such as myself? Is the amount of GUPs created a permanently fixed amount? As for the crowdsale, I'm not quite clear on the withdrawal process, assuming I were to participate in the power hour but then wait 2 weeks to withdraw my GUPs it would be equivalent to having purchased the GUPs 2 weeks later? Could you please clarify that part, I didn't find it very clear in the whitepaper.

It seems as though hosting is intended to be fairly competitive, at least initially, will joiners of pools that fail to gain critical mass be left high and dry? Seems like a cause for potential dissatisfaction with the overall service. What safeguards will be enacted to prevent hosts from behaving negligently or from misrepresenting their pools?

Forgive me if I misunderstood something. I'm not a technical type of guy but I've definitely done my fair share of online dating and I very much like the scope of this project.

About demand and GUP price, like all other projects with designated token use as Matchpool App gains more and more traction those who wish to participate will have to buy GUPs either on exchanges or through the App, the more buys the bullish the market will be, making the price of the token go higher and speculators such as yourself wealthier.

Regarding the ICO process, the smart contract will be deployed with fix parameters assigning 130 GUP for each ETH sent within the first hour, than 120 for the first 3 days and so on...
Regardless of the distribution date the assigning of tokens are determined at the time of the investment and so those who participate in the power hour will earn the bonus regardless of the ICO duration.

Last but maybe most important of all, like any new idea and concept their will be a learning curve of pools profitability assessment, but as we will go forward pools makers will have their reputation play a crucial role. those who will put their efforts into it will gain many participants and those who won't do nothing soon will lose all credibility and will find it hard to enlist participants. As this whole platform is based on human connection and interaction those who will fail to provide this aspect will soon enough be out of the game.

Pools are all about the interaction in it of course one can speak whatever language he wants in it, if others will understand...that's depending on the pool's specific parameters when it is opened.

Anyway, I've been online dating for over 10 years and have used services including hot or not, okcupid, match, tinder, plenty of fish and bumble and I am very interested in being an alpha tester in the San Francisco area, where online dating has been the norm for years.

You have quality questions brother, and I will be happy to answer them all.

The MVP (or Minimal Viable Product) is basically a core and very basic version of the Matchpool platform, where matches can only be maid by the pool host and the entire Div's and Points systems is not yet implemented. also the communication between pool members at this stage will be done solely in a public manner and direct private messaging will not be possible.

The event in Paris will be both a PR event and also a product promoting one, an early alpha version will be presented along with our smart contracts.

Regarding GUP volatility, as all Altcoins it will be stupid not to think it is going to be volatile, however I don't see this deffer from any other Cryptoproject...
At first the trading of the coin will probably cause great changes in price but after a short term the price will settled and pool entrance and monthly subscription fees will be decided accordingly
Hopefully in the future the price will rise making the fees adjust.

Arranging our upcoming event in Paris is not an easy job but it is done mainly in order to get Matchpool's name on the map and attract many potential future users.
Alongside this we are making great PR efforts, trying to reach as many communities as possible some through our Bounty campaign and some in other ways.
We also believe that our "female giveaways" of GUP will be very rewarding and bring a lot of female users into the platform which will attract many other users to follow....

And of course as any other project in this market we will be as good as our community will be and we can use all the help from you guys in order to create this amazing vision come alive
