Will you guys hustle to to get users? And I mean hustle hard like knock on doors to get people to sign up. Build it and they will come does not apply here because there are literally thousands of dating apps. You need to physically force people (at the beginning) to use Matchpool. ARE YOU PREPARED TO DO THAT?
If you have a point or a question hidden between your collection of aggressive words, than feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer.
Otherwise please carry on and spam another topic.
While I agree, that his_her wording comes across as agressive, there is a point there. What this thing needs is a solid user base, as early as possible (i.e. as soon as the project is in a working state).
As with other social networks, network effect is EVERYTHING. You can have the best idea, the best software, tools, gadgets and whatnot in the world, in the end, what counts is the overall activity, which will be the number one reason for people to stay onboard. You see it over and over again with "facebook killers" (not saying, that this is supposed to be a facebook killer, this is just meant to be an example), who may or may not have better technology, better ideas, better privacy, better incentives (things like diaspora and tsu.co come to mind), in the end, most of them die, because the place where the action is happening is where the most people are.
What actually might be an interesting idea, would be to market it at least in parts as a cryptobased Linkedin, meaning, a work and job centered social network, which focusses on people, who are interested in using cryptocurrencies as payment. I think in many regards, this could be a niche in which matchpool could take a hold without having too much competition.
