Author Topic: 6 Rig Miner Restarting and One Card Under Hashing 10%  (Read 446 times)

I have a 6 rig miner that restarts everytime it loads any miner after 2 minutes it restarts and one card on it is underhashing its only 10% of what it should be, ive tried everything and I am stressed and out of ideas... anyone have a clue what could be going on?

Drivers are up to date

Ive moved the power cord to different areas as well....

Need more infos,

OS
gpu's (brand, model)
drivers used
gpu's overclock & bios
motherboard + cpu + memory
type of riser
PSU
miner used and what command line.

test done :

each card work well alone ?
wattmeter mesurment ?
5 card rig work (removing the problematic one) ?

It's almost impossible to diagnose with almost no informations, but i would put my 2 cents on a PSU fault

2nd -- with what little info there is, PSU is most likely the fault.

Remember you shouldn't load your PSU more than 80% for extended periods so do some calculations of the required power of all your equipment to determine if your PSU is large enough.

If your PSU is "rated" to be large enough, get a different reputable brand and try again.

I 2nd the PSU

When I started with rigs using more than 4 cards I calculated to 90% utilization and had this same issue now I only buy 1300W Platinum PSU's that equals 65% utilization and I have not had any more issues.
