What's a UUID? I only know of UID and as of the time of this post they're ranging from 1 to 943407 exactly. It will obviously go higher as more users signs up.

You can find the last UID from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=stats.

Edit:
Wait, are you talking about "Universally unique identifier"?

If you find a profile with that ID then it's valid. For example yours is 932115.
Find that by going to a user's profile. You'll see it the ID in the link (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=932115).

You can find the last UID from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=stats.

If you find a profile with that ID then it's valid. For example yours is 932115.
Find that by going to a user's profile. You'll see it the ID in the link (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=932115).

UID 2 is a user that does (no longer) exist -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

You can request the page for the user ID in question. Make sure you dont spam the forum, or your IP might get banned. IIRC if you limit requests to once per second you should be fine. Just parse the returning file. Looking for the title should be enough. If the ID is invalid it should be 'An Error Has Occurred!' else it should be 'View the profile of <username>'

Im not really here, its just your imagination.
