Ex-CIA Agent Admits In Court We Run Afghan Opium Trade

John F. Abbotsford was in court over charges of possession of child pornography, but he says the allegations are false and an attempt to silence him to prevent him from "blowing the lid off the CIA's drug smuggling operations in Afghanistan".

"This is a desperate attempt by the US government to shut me up" he told the court. "If I'm going to face jail time, I want the truth to be known before they try to get rid of me in prison".

During the court session, Abbotsford announced, "I'm ashamed to say that I have participated in these drug smuggling operations on many occasions. For a long time, I tried to convince myself that we were doing it for the right cause, but this burden is destroying me inside and I just can't stand it anymore".

Worldnewsdailyreport.com reports:

"The CIA has been dealing drugs since its creation. They've been smuggling drugs everywhere in the world for the past 60 years, in Taiwan in 1949 to support General Chiang Kai-shek against the Chinese commies, in Vietnam, in Nicaragua, and that's just the tip of the iceberg" he launched out during the court trial. "We helped the Mujahideen develop poppy cultivation to fight the Soviets, but we took back matters in our own hands in 2001 when we invaded Afghanistan under Bush" he pleaded.

What was the real reason why the US invaded Afghanistan? In Iraq and Libya, there were vast oil deposits that could be stolen. But Afghanistan had only one resource - opium. Once they conquered Afghanistan, the Americans took control of the opium trade and started exporting heroin to Russia and Iran. Even without firing a single shot, the CIA has managed to kill more than one million Russians and Iranians.

Now everything will be clear as a day that the CIA has many evil deeds that they are doing all over the world. Aside from organizing terrorist groups they also orchestrated bombings in several occasions. If a country is not following the orders from America to feed their greed the CIA will move underground to destroy the reputation and make false claims and reports so that the united states can take over that nation without being withheld by other countries.

Did you need someone to testify in court for it to be "clear as day" really? They can do anything as long as they report it's for the good of the country. For instance they tried to assassinate Fidel Castro a number of times. We knew they influence the electrons, now it comes out they are involved in drug trade, just wait until something else comes out.

There is a reason why they are performing every trick in their book to get Snowden and Assange. These two are holding a lot of classified information about the CIA. Snowden is alive just because he is under the protection of the FSB. The CIA can target anyone. Even foreign heads of state are not immune from their attacks.

I always knew this. If you look at opium production in Afghanistan you'll notice that in 2001 it fell sharply. That is when the Taliban started to burn down the crops because it conflicted with sharia law. After the US went in the production started to rise sharply. Now its near it all time high.

This is something I've been hearing for some time now. The increase of heroin users in my city has risen extremely over the past several years, especially after the government changed the laws regarding hydrocodone prescription which drove the price of black market pills way-up and the cartels had tons of heroin at the ready of which they flooded the streets.

Quote
Academics, rehab clinics, and law enforcement blame the rise in heroin use to the crackdown on pharmaceutical painkillers.

It’s been gradual: In 2010, the Food and Drug Administration approved a new formula for the time-release painkiller OxyContin that blocked its high levels of oxycodone from being immediately released. The next year, two laws designed to eliminate doctor shopping and prescription fraud went into effect. Last year, some 14 law enforcement agencies launched its so-called “King of the Pill” operation, busting some 37 pain clinics and nine pharmacies in pill mill raids.

But cutting the flow of illicit pain meds has inflated the street cost of desirable painkillers like oxycodone and hydrocodone, making it not only less accessible but more expensive than a needle-shot of heroin.

“Prescription drugs are expensive,” Maxwell said. “And heroin is cheap, and getting cheaper and cheaper.”

Top-shelf doses of pain pills go for as high as $70 on the street, while the heroin-equivalent goes for $20, according to DEA price data. In two years, the price of black tar has dropped by 40 percent.

Despite accidentally creating a new market for heroin, the DEA doesn’t plan to stop its pursuit of illicit pharmaceuticals, Whipple said. Instead, the agency is seeking harsher sentencing guidelines for shady doctors similar to what a street dealer would face.

Perhaps this is the real reason behind the American invasion of Afghanistan. It should be noted that the Americans invaded Afghanistan shortly after the Taliban banned opium poppy. The Americans toppled the Taliban, so that opium keeps flowing out of that country.

Can be certainly the reason. Only the Americans pursue their own goals, and for that all means are good. For example, I never use drugs. I don't care what is grown in Afghanistan. If these drugs kill my enemies they are my friends.

It has been confirmed that opium production is increasing.

Very strange.

I thought the war in afghanistan was meant to decrease the taliban's main source of funding?

I don't believe in such statistics. If poppy cultivation is not legal as it is possible to calculate the amount. The opium traffickers that are caught, believe and let go? I think it's just a political statement.

Be careful what you wish for. Today you will kill their children using drugs. Tomorrow they will kill your children using the same drugs. Once again, there is an old saying: "What goes around comes around".

I agree with you . Fight the enemies you need, but it does not need to hide behind others. If you want to do something right, do it yourself. Drugs is a bad ally. Good things are not done bad methods.

Afghanistan opium production up 43% - UN drugs watchdog

23 October 2016

Opium production in Afghanistan has increased by 43% in the past year, United Nations officials have said.
The UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) said the area used to farm the poppy plant, the source of opium, increased by 10% to 201,000 hectares.
But better farming conditions resulted in a higher yield per hectare, increasing overall production.
Afghanistan is the world's largest producer of the substance, which is the main ingredient in heroin.
Growing opium is a crime in the country, but it is still a major cash crop for impoverished farming communities.
The Taliban also taxes poppy production in areas it controls, which is a major source of income for its military activities.

UNODC Executive Director Yury Fedotov said the figures were "a worrying reversal in efforts".

The opium produced from the poppy plant is used to make some of the most powerful medicinal painkillers, such as morphine.
However, many nations cultivate their own supply for medicinal use, and Afghanistan's production of illicit opium is primarily sued for the illegal drug trade.
The Afghan government has a stated policy of eradicating poppy crops, but the crop is widespread in many government-controlled regions, and officials are often accused of turning a blind eye.

Earlier this year, the BBC's South Asia correspondent Justin Rowlatt visited poppy farms in the north-east, where one farmer told him the local government knew about his crop, but "they also know it is the only way anyone can make decent money."

Just 355 hectares (877 acres) of poppies were eradicated by provincial authorities in the last year - down more than a 90% since 2015, when almost 4,000 hectares were cleared.
Seven insurgents and one officer died during attacks on eradication teams this year. Seven more people were injured.
The southern region of the country is the most productive area, accounting for 54% of the entire national opium production.
Helmand province, which has seen a resurgent Taliban presence, is the single largest producer, with more than 80,000 hectares of poppy cultivation.
The region was a contested area between the Taliban and Nato-led forces, before the latter withdrew in 2014.

I am not surprised, in fact I am shocked that we have no more stories about CIA dirty operations floating around.
CIA is really good at silencing, killing and destroying every agent who manifest even slight symptoms of having doubts.
I am sure that the amount of false flag operations, crimes, murders, drug trafficking, framing people, that CIA done since its inception is far worse that evil deeds of any organized crime syndicate on earth.

Media Silent As CIA Quietly Publishes Millions Of Damning Govt Docs Online In Searchable Database

The CIA dumped 13 million pages of declassified records, including US role in overthrowing foreign governments and the secret 'Star Gate' telepathy project.

The CIA has published online nearly 13 million pages of declassified records, including papers on the US role in overthrowing foreign governments and the secret 'Star Gate' telepathy project.

The range of documents, known as the CREST (CIA Records Search Tool) database, covers an array of materials related to the Vietnam War, Korean War and Cold War. One example is data on the Berlin tunnel project (code-named Operation Gold), which was a joint CIA and British intelligence scheme to carry out surveillance on the Soviet Army HQ in Berlin during the 1950s.

In all, more than 12 million documents are accessible, covering the history of the CIA from its creation in the 1940s up to the 1990s – with intelligence officials giving assurances that the half-century of data is in its entirety, with nothing removed.

"None of this is cherry-picked," CIA spokesperson Heather Fritz Horniak told CNN. "It's the full history. It's good and bad."

For instance, details are provided on the CIA's participation in the 1973 coup in Chile which saw the rise of the Pinochet regime, as well as on the infamous MK-Ultra project, dubbed the CIA mind control program, which involved experiments – some of them illegal – on human subjects, to develop drugs and procedures for interrogation and torture.

It's now a couple of decades since the documents were actually declassified, though. The cache was ordered to be released by then-President Bill Clinton in 1995. The papers have been accessible since 2000, but only on four computer terminals at the National Archives in College Park, Maryland.

"Access to this historically significant collection is no longer limited by geography," Joseph Lambert, the CIA's information management director, said in a press release.

Over the decades about 1.1 million pages from the database were printed out by historians and journalists, but the CIA banned the actual materials from publication.

"Declassifying all the documents in the world doesn't accomplish anything if people can't get access to them," Steve Aftergood, the director of the Project on Government Secrecy at the Federation of American Scientists, told BuzzFeed.

The inability to access the database online prompted outrage, and in 2014, MuckRock, a non-profit news organization, filed a Freedom of Information Act to gain access to the documents, but the CIA said it would take at least six years to release the papers. Journalists and researchers then launched a popular Kickstarter campaign to digitize the documents, collecting over $15,000 – surpassing the stated crowdfunding goal and posting some of the papers online.

SPOON-KY! Declassified files reveal CIA carried out secret psychic experiments...

The Israeli – famed for his apparent ability to bend spoons with his mind – was taken to Stanford Research Institute in the 1970s to have his psychic abilities investigated.

A newly released cache of CIA documents reveals UFO sightings and psychic experiments from the "Stargate programme", which has long been of interest to conspiracy theorists.

The project was the codename for a secret U.S. Army unit established in 1978 at Fort Meade, Maryland, by the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA).

It aimed to investigate the potential for psychic phenomena to be used by the military and intelligence services.

The Stargate programme inspired the 2009 film The Men Who Stare At Goats starring George Clooney and Ewan McGregor.

Some of the files surround the weird investigation and reveal how Geller was probed during a week-long series of tests.

I just hope that Trump will take the necessary steps to disband the CIA. During its entire history, the organization has done more harm than good. It has toppled democratically elected governments, sponsored terrorists such as Osama bin Laden, and killed innocent civilians through drugs and napalm.
