Given all the chaos of the last weeks with Bitcoin's exchanges,
I really don't have the appetite for risking my money with any of these Bitcoin-specialist exchanges that have popped up over the last year or two. They all seem to be a bunch of incompetent amateurs.
So I'm wondering if there is any serious professionally run exchange operating anywhere right now.
Maybe an existing Forex exchange, broker or OTC market maker that's already established in the mainstream Forex market who has recently expanded into the Bitcoin sector.
Far as I know the only one that gets close to this is bit4x.com.
However, the information contained on that site seems very spartan, which doesn't inspire much confidence for me.
Does anyone know if there are any others? Or is it a desert right now and we are all at the mercy of the amateur cowboys?

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

There are exchanges than last longer than a year or two.
Just need to do your homework on who you should trust.

problem is they are not regulated. Bingo. Indeed, FX Open is one of the more trustworthy places to trade available at the moment. I am looking forward to the next generation of US-based exchanges -- Bitlicensed and all.

Just visualizing really. There have been rumors, but nothing firm as far as I know. We know that NYS bitlicenses are for real, and Lawsky announced they are now accepting applications. But I don't know if the process is finalized, or what kind of red tape is involved.

Anx BTC or ANXPRO is a well trusted exchange based in honk kong with physical address where you can go and use ATMs there, and it manages several FIAT and Crypto currencies.
