Why are some child currencies  protected against criticism by BTC-E ? Is it true ?

I just read this and  I am curious what could be the reason ?

I see a lot of people bashing TRC in the chat box and not getting banned.

I've never seen someone get banned for bashing TRC before and I've seen it a lot lol.

Either:

- That guy kept spamming the same copy/paste comment or link over and over
- Or he wrote the comment in all caps
- Or he just got unlucky

I got banned for a day for posting a link. Only after I posted it did I realise everyone was posting it over and over and the the mod was fed up with people spamming it.

Moderators really has no connection with exchange's policy. Almost anyone active community member can become a moderator at btc-e, just send your request to admin (not support). If you are trustworthy experienced person, you will receive your banhammer. Recommendations from other moderators also considered by admins while making such decisions.

So if you are unhappy with the current moderation policy, you have chance to change it. Roll Eyes

I don't know the concrete case I just read about in the reddit. May be it was a justified situation.

I got banned for 7 days out of nowhere.  I broke no rules, all I said was something like,

TRC might be a lost cause, (posted thread on TRC being fucked [hadn't been posted before] )

and mentioned how it was mining like 10 blocks a minute 200 TRC a minute and how that was going to be dumped onto unsuspecting fools.

Boom.  banned 7 days.

that actually happened.  I didn't swear, I didn't use capital letters, i wasn't spamming, just offering the real information on the coin cuz that coin fucked me so hard, so I've been keeping up on its health closely hoping it'll somehow give me my money back.

I was very suspicious of btc-e after that, I was like why would they ban me for 7 days over giving information?  I can't wrap my mind around it.  it came as a shock.  well they can't quiet me on this forum

edit:  the fact that somebody else was banned reinforces suspiciousness.  I already reported this odd banishment for reporting facts on the trc situation in other threads.  so this redditter is not the only one.  there are some suspicious that btc-e people are shooting asics at it and mining tons to dump on people.  just a theory.  they don't seem like the kind of people I want to cross.

yeah baby yeah
