Our greatest feature that distinguishes us from other animals is the level of intelligence. Our awareness level is higher than other living things.

What are the concepts of consciousness and awareness for you? How do you explain these concepts?

Simply that we are infinite consciousness (a spirit) in a body, having an experience.

Consciousness and awareness just means that you are alive and you still have your senses. Just like all the animals that live here with us. Were all the same when it comes to those two concepts.

Simply that we are infinite consciousness (a spirit) in a body, having an experience.

They have absolutely nothing to do with a spirit.

Consciousness to me is a clear focus on what you have as a mind set.
Awareness is knowing what your capable of and of your surroundings so you do not get yourself in a sticky situation.  Wink

Consciousness is the ability to ponder the self, to express introspection. Awareness is the sum of the senses and our conscious interpretation of them.

To me, the concepts of consciousness and awareness are the same. Often these two concepts are used to explain each other.

According to the feelings of the person, its perceptions, knowledge and understanding, it is called consciousness to define itself and become aware of itself.
Awareness requires a certain level of consciousness. So the conscious person is awareness at the same time. The higher the level of awareness of a person, the higher the level of consciousness.

BEING AWARE
You know what is, but you don’t know how it may or may not be related to your life. Being aware does not necessarily equate with being conscious. This brings us to the other part of the equation.

BEING CONSCIOUS
Awareness is considered a prerequisite for consciousness. You can’t be conscious about something if you’re unaware of it in the first place. Example: you were aware about everything in your surroundings, but you were consciously looking out for an escape. This blurs out your perception of non-related elements, enabling you to focus exclusively on certain, sought aspects.

Consciousness is an ability to think and cognize the world, it is it that distinguishes man from an animal. Consciousness is similar to the operating system of a computer.
