Bitcoin for fashion business?

Hello guys,

Simple question - can we find bitcoin as a payment option useful in our fashion shop? I was reading a lot about it and didn't get clear idea.
We have added this option today, but not sure if it will decrease the value of the brand as it could look "not standart'y"..

On the other hand - we should look very innovative.

Do you think there are many ladies who are using bitcoins in Europe?

id say it wouldnt devalue your brand,

people dont scream at each other:
EG "dont shop there, they accept discover card"

what usually devalues a brand is if you limit the payment options:
EG "there's no point shopping there, they only accept euro's"

i would say the more payment options the better. just ensure the lay out is equal and not busy to confuse people with too many options on a screen

I would say that if you could implement this at a low cost, why not try it? (I know that you've already implemented it, but this is what I would say to shops that haven't)  
Perhaps you'll get some new customers that will use your shop just because you offer Bitcoin payments. I know that I've personally bought certain things that I normally wouldn't have, just because the shop in question accepted Bitcoin. (Shoutout to BeesBrothers)

As to offering Bitcoin payments devalueing your brand, I do not see why it would. It's just another payment option, so you're offering a better service to your customers.

I don't think there are many ladies using bitcoins, most bitcoin users are men. This idea is nice to allow bitcoin payments, but it won't be a big success as most population in the world don't use bitcoins and people buying fashion items principally.
Most bitcoin users are from poor countries and don't have much interest or money yet to buy fashion items. But your idea is nice and innovative, in the future many persons will be glad to your choice to implement this payment method.

On the other hand,adding an option to pay with bitcoin will add to your brand value as the perception about bitcoin is changing very fast.I have seen a lot of people now specifically ask for bitcoin payment for the convenience it offers.You can also come across as innovative business enterprise if you add bitcoin payment

I don't think there are many ladies using bitcoins, most bitcoin users are men. This idea is nice to allow bitcoin payments, but it won't be a big success as most population in the world don't use bitcoins and people buying fashion items principally.

Those are some pretty huge generalizations that you're making, not saying that you're wrong, just that if you're stating such things you should be backing it up by statistics.

It does not mean that only ladies should buy why mens will also buy for their wife, girlfriend or sisters for any functions, and keeping more options of payment will only give more improvement and popularity to your business

Excellent and very smart I can say your idea to add bitcoin as a possibility of payment choice except paypal. Even though I live in a European country and there are some merchants who accept bitcoin none of them deals with fashion. As others members before me they posted, in my country too there only few women using bitcoins but may be some of them have friends with a bitcoin wallet. I wish many others like you to follow your way for retail, given that you are, if I am not mistaken, exclusively an online shop.

I think it will be a great idea to add bitcoin for the payment , there are a lot of female bitcoin users, and by adding more payment option the customer will be happy, don't worry it can't devalue the brand because the brand is not depend on payment option and i believe by adding more payment option it will increase your customer rate

I agree it is always an advantage to be the first one to implement a payment in a certain sector of business industry but make sure you make noise out of it.  Advertisement always came handy every time you have an add on feature in your site.   It is also wise to use Bitcoin as mode of payment because you automatically remove the boundaries of your business.

I think bitcoin is more popular in Porn fashion industry. Since Viewers love to hide their identity in the porn, so they choose bitcoin as their best source of transactions. On the other hand I think if Hollywood starts accepting Bitcoins, then all the other countries film making industries will be encouraged to use bitcoins.

Whether its fashion business or something else, implementing bitcoin into it is good as it gives you assured profit. You need to promote your business with statements representing that you accept bitcoin. By situation if you don't have any people around your locality at least in the future you'll be benefited.

Do keep the option added. It won't hurt your marketing or the value of the brand and indeed make you guys look more innovative by adding technologically advanced payment option. You aren't just helping your site but the whole bitcoin community.

Very well said Franky1, In fact, I am hunting for the shops in my town or even in the country which accepts bitcoin as a payment option. I a not able to spend my single bitcoin just because there are no bitcoin accepted shops in my town, all I have to do is to spend it online. A customer is always pleased to choose from multiple payment options.

Bitcoin is useful for all retail establishment, it gives you another payment option, people love to use their bitcoin.  and not only that you can be guaranteed that you have been paid with out fear of charge backs.

It is very useful indeed on using bitcoin as an another payment option on purchasing goods.Regarding on the OP I could say that you should try it out to implement bitcoin payments on your business I don't know if there are lots of ladies who are using bitcoin on your place but Knowing EU place which bitcoin adoption is high.

This is right, I think having more payment options can help the customer to have easy payment . It is helpful to the bitcoin users who can't cash out every time their btc. Same with it will attract more people to use bitcoin. Just make sure payment via btc will be explained well to the customer.
