While I hope this is a troll post - in the event it is not and you are emotional and not prioritizing making complete sense online (which is why people think you are a troll). I doubt you will get your $ back, I doubt the police will care, having said that, getting jacked sucks and I'm sorry to hear/read that.
+1. Hope this is a troll, because if not, that's a lot of cash you just lost to a bad password. My condolences.

Yeahman. If you actually got ripped off, my heart goes out to you... But there's nothing the cops can do, to be honest.

Wasn't one of the central benefits of BTC that it was untouchable by highly organized mobs (ie: gov'ts)? That means that it is every individuals responsibility to take the time and steps necessary to secure their accounts. Two weeks ago I knew next to nothing about BTCs, encryption, anonymousy online, etc. But with a bit of time spend learning you can save yourself major headaches down the road.
Put simply, the pain of the loss of your BTCs is a hard lesson; with any luck it will teach you (and others) not to make the same mistakes next time.

This is probably a troll, otherwise the OP would have responded already to some of the messages.

Have there been many other Rip offs this way? If people are stealing coins, those places are probably the easiest to steal them from wouldn't they be?
But seriously, Poster what did Mt Gox say when you contacted them??
