hello guys,

I just wanted to share my frustrations with you guys so I have a wirex account right and  like 3 days ago I wanted to send someone coins. 13$ worth and when I tried the first time it said I should wait for a confirmaton email but it did not arrive until 30mins later so naturally I will try and send again so I get the email this time. Okay I got the email second time around and clicked to confirm. the coins had been sent. but now I finally got the first attempts email and it read it will cancel itself after 1 hour of being left unclicked.

so I left it unclicked for about 3 hours and my 13$ worth of bitcoin was still left in pending. now 4 days have passed and my coins are still swallowed by wirex for free with no way to get them back. I had contacted them since the first day it was stuck I still did not receive nay answer. I think this might be the 5th day of the coins being stuck.

I would warn anyone who is planning on using their services to stay away as they seem to be way too young and can't even keep their customers happy. I have 3 cards with them and withdrew more than 500$ BTC with them but they can't help me get my 13$ btc out.

What were you expecting from a Web wallet service like Wirex?  I always knew Wirex's service was too buggy.  In addition to Server downtimes,  They have huge transaction fees.  To top it all,  Support is too slow.  I hope you get your issue resolved.  Endeavor to stay away from them

I use wirex too, and their support usually comes back in less than 24hours. but I only use them to charge my debit card, getting bitcoin out is difficult

I used Wirex in the past, and while the service isn't that great, it did get the job done every time. Not sure nowadays, as I've moved on to other btc debit cards.

yeah still did not get any help. I don't know where to ask for help anymore at this point. their support obviously doesn't work.

I am using e-coin.io and my rate for it is 3.7/5. Basically it is good service BUT a few times per year it is not working for some hours. The card works perfectly... But the website is a bit problematic (not stable). It can slowly loading or do not show balances etc. Hope that in future they update their website.  Roll Eyes

In major situations I like the wirex but sometimes it is very annoying because of site issues!

Hey guys, I also have an "awesome" experience with wirex and their so called "support". I bought 4.75 Bitcoins and wanted them transfered to my wirex wallet. Yesterday I opened my wallet and saw that I received them. But I didn't get any email notification or any other information about that. About 45min later I saw that there was a transaction from my wallet to an address I never heard off. All my 4.75 btc were gone. Again no email or any other notification. Also I have Touch ID and a PIN and my mobilephone was all the time in my pocket, so that there is no way possible that I could have sent these Bitcoins to anyone. Furthermore my Bitcoin address is all of a sudden totally different to the one I got when I installed the app. I have got screenshots of both. Don't know if this happend before or after the transactions, but it doesn't matter, normally it shouldn't happen at all. Maybe it is because of their new version 2.0, but I don't know. I contacted the support and didn't get any help yet. I'm totally pissed off and thinking about contacting my lawyer as this is about more than 5500€! I will keep you updated

Hello, there are some news about my issue. The support told me that their developers checked if emails were sent to my email address and they said yes. I just called my email provider and they told me that I never received an email that day from wirex, neither that I received my bitcoins nor an email that I want so send my bitcoins to somebody which I would have to confirm. If I don't get my bitcoins refunded by wirex till the end of the month my lawyer is going to handle that case with them, as this really looks like fraud and theft to me.

Unfortunately I have to confirm that they have problems. It's been over 48 hours since I made a payment with their wallet. How you can see it hasn't been confirmed yet. And It's been over 24 hours since I sent a request to their support (#102842). They remain silent. By the way it was a foreign exchange payment at a time when btc was high. You all know what happened yesterday. Anyway be careful with them.
