where are all those who were calling $500 bottom?

i have always said that it is not easy to predict bitcoin price, and future is not clear. but some things are just dumb.

for example saying that price will go to $10,000 in a couple of months to a year just because there was a rise.

the same thing goes for saying price will fall down to $500 just because a price correction happened after a fast rise to $1160
now that a couple of weeks passed with price above $800 and entering $900 range now, all those users saying things like "Crash", "since there was a drop it will drop more", "$500, $400, back to $200" have disappeared, waiting for another tiny drop to come out and start saying the same stuff again!

It's because other people are speculating and it's normal. Don't take them seriously especially if the have no basis or support claims since you are the only one who can analyze in your own view about what will happen in bitcoin price.

Sometimes a establishing a correction price misleades into a idea of price crash which is not really the exact thing that is happening. It happened even with the road to $500 journey year ago.

There are people who want to spread panic only for the purpose of buying cheaper bitcoins.
What they do is  malicious for the btc community,because it scares a lot of newbies who are too afraid to start trading bitcoins.

This is not the ideal environment for merchants to have this much volatility. I was hoping that it would move in much smaller increments, but

this is getting absurd. This morning I told my neighbour that the price was more or less $930 and 2 hours later it dropped with $30+... for the

non-Bitcoiners that are not used to this kind of volatility, this must be very scary indeed. 

I do not bother with short term volatility, because I look at the bigger picture and where this is going in 1 to 2 years from now.

How would anyone spread panic by shouting bitcoin down to 500$. Only Newbie can fall on such predictions. See the market value and demand and the price of bitcoin in last few months, one can easily say that bitcoin will never go below now. Rather it will cross 1500$ soon

You only come to life when the price is going down, how funny is that. You simply ignore the fact that the price right now is moving above the levels where it was moving comfortably. Comfortable levels are anywhere between $800-$850 so if you have that in mind, then these dumps aren't any special at all, unless you're a day trader that takes advantage of these dumps.

They might be in the corner mopping their tears because they keep losing their shorts. Their efforts to bring the price down is a lost cause right now. They failed to influence others to believe that the price is gonna crash. The price is starting to rally again and it is above 900$.

And this time it does appear to be sustainable. The price rise is not the rapid rise which leads to traders booking profits quickly and speculators opening short positions. This steady gain is what is good for Bitcoin.

This is how the markets work.
FUD, hype, rumor and so on is everywhere used to influence prices and people's mind.
So imo it is not malicious.Or do you see people freaking out because their fiat currencies are losing in purchasing power tremendously?!
This is one of the stages people have to go through when entering this space.This won't change in the next coming years, independent from the price, may it in the hundres or several thousands of dollars per bitcoin.

Its pretty normal why some are saying that 500$ is the new bottom way back when there was a correction. They said it in my opinion either because they think that the same thing that happened before after halving will happen, or they are just spreading fud wanting people to dump the coins they have for them to buy cheaper coins. That's two of their most probable reasons for posting that 500$ is the new bottom.
