More effective for who, the employer or the employee? Most profitable for employees are the signature campaigns. The social media campaigns don't give us many chances of profit, even because there are too less social media campaigns than signature campaigns on this forum. But for who wants to promote his business I believe the signature campaign is a bit better, because here he will find the target public, people who probably have more interest for what he wants to promote.

Can't completely agree with that. If you know quite a few people on social media who are interested in bitcoin, that could help. You could also target specific audiences on social media, like Reddit. You could probably get some kinda sponsored message at a bitcoin-related subreddit. I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that a social media campaign would cost less. Depends, really.

I can't agree with this also. Using both signature campaign and social media campaign are both effective in their own ways, and also all the signature campaigns here are related to bitcoins, even though it is altcoin, then it is related to bitcoin because you would convert it anyways in bitcoin to have more profit, and this altcoins would not be here right now, if bitcoin does not exist in the first place.

I think it is also regarding what you want to achieve as well as the product. If its pure bitcoin related thing like a casino or something you may think it is only bitcointalk signature campaign but having some social media presence also means that you will show more trust.

I do not trust a casino that has its last post 2 years ago. I want to play on a social and active casino, I want to talk with the owner-mods or whatever they have and see them do promotions on social media. Primedice would be a great example.

Agree, it is not about that which campaign is better/more effective. It is about what kind of service we want to promote and what is the target. 99% of Bitcointalk users already use Bitcoin, so if someone is looking for new/fresh customers, for him much better will be social media campaign. For those who are looking for strict and only Bitcoin users i would advice Bitcointalk signature campaign. Anyway everyone know that only one stream of advertisement is not good, so to be honest i will run both - social media and signature campaigns together.

Coming to promotion both are very effective because social media campaign is a viral advertising and signature campaign is awareness advertising. So each has it's own unique features but most of the owners spent money for signature campaign when compared to social media.

All the signature campaigns on this forum require a rank of Jr. member or higher and even then they don’t pay you that much, however social campaigns still do not pay that much but they don’t require you to have a high rank so even a newbie can get in, hence we cannot expect effective promotions from newbie.

But signature campaign just targets crtpto users or just this forum members whereas social media campaigns target rest of world too.

I think both is pretty much good if these two platforms has millions of users then promoting your site is good either in these two.
The only difference is that Bitcointalk community has a knowledge about crypto-currencies and knows what bitcoin is, while on social media sites there are only plenty of users who has a knowledge in Altcoins.
Depending on the site you are trying to promote, if is some kind of a blog site and you need visits to boost your traffic then both is good but if is Altcoin related, bitcointalk is the best pick.

That is certainly true, but I see that it all depends on the target that they seek. For those who do that all have different targets and sometimes they do the right thing. not forever signature gives a positive impact for those who hold and not always social media give positive impact, it all depends on how we use media that we are very strategic. This is true only if you're advertising a business that deals exclusively with Bitcoin. In such case a signature campaign will probably find more target audience on a Bitcoin forum, like this one.
If the business accepts both Bitcoin and fiat payments, a social media campaign will find more target audience, because it addresses both Bitcoin and fiat users at the same time.

there are some numerous campaign has been failed since they didn't get their expected exposure on that time, and also i think if we combined those two campaigns surely advertisers can gain more success but its all matter really on how they can sustain it since sustaining a ad campaigns surely can cost a lot and making it running for long time is a must if we are aiming to get a long term users and lured them all.
