signature campaign vs social media campaign, which is more effective?

From what I have witnessed, I think that signature campaign is more effective because most of people from Bitcointalk have decent knowledge about Bitcoin. In social media, it is very hard to find someone who knows about cryptos so that it is kinda useless and waste of money. If I am a marketing manager, I will never ever make a social campaign about bitcoin-relate services.

Signature campaign is the most powerful because every one what is bitcoin and what are it's benefits, so people here in bitcointalk forum people will get an identity whether which ICO is running and what are present recent market going on. Where as through social media you will get an alerts from the people and as well as from the company but many people on social media till don't what are crypto currencies.

I think both can be as effective as each other.  Here in the forum you have exposure straight away to thousands of users already interested in this area, on social media it could bring in new people that are unaware or have only heard about bitcoin and the crypto world.

I think it has a lot to do with the user that is advertising especially via the likes of Twitter, if a user is heavily into bitcoin they may have hundreds or thousands of users crypto related vs a standard user that might only have a handful.

It would be interesting to see some stats.

Not really, there were some alt coins which it used signature campaign as the way their promotiing their coins, and the result is they didn't get their min target (Not many people invested) even though they already used signature campaign. Both of signature campaign nor social media campaign are the best way how to promotiong toother people, but the result still depends from how you will make people more "interested" with your project

Really few people here who are serious about altcoins and I am also one of them, therefore the signature campaign if it's related to bitcoin directly it can be much more effective than the social media campaign as in social media not all the users know what bitcoin is and if you do advertise via a facebook page which is bitcoin related than the audience there is much smaller than this forum.

More than 800k users in the forum , all know what bitcoin is, I don't know any other place more effective than this forum to advertise your services or websites if they are bitcoin related.

I think the effectivity of any campaign (whether it is signature or twitter) depends on the members who advertise this product or this altcoin, the crypto community has many concerns as we can watch in this forum, there are gambling fans, trading fans, altcoins fans, so for example when you want to advertise a casino with members who are not interested in gambling or do not post in gambling section, the campaign will be less effective, but when you choose the members who post daily in gambling section, you will reach your goal, therefore I do not prefer a signature campaign or social media campaign, because both kinds can be effective in some cases.

For me signature campaign is more effective let's say you want to advertise your gambling sites all of the members here are more oriented than the social media users so if you will advertise in social media they don't really have an idea especially on bitcoins and there possibilities that they will think your site is a scam.

For me, it is both depending on the service you are offering and the target customers. Signature campaign has a small target group range but the targets are homogeneous unlike social media where will have a broad range of people who are heterogeneous.

Signature stays within this forum, with varying elites of long year experience of blockchain technology while the world of the social media exposes projects to richer world of people who also looking for what to invest on. However, have not managed any campaign at both platform but like to know, to what advantage has signature campaign taken over social media or vice versa in recent campaigns.

Signature campaign is really effective here in this forum as majority of people here are crytocurrencies enthusiast. Even more effective if the advertisement is a crypto related product.

This is effective too on social media campaign if they will focus on advertising it on those crypto related groups and money making social groups. If it will spread out just generally on their friends list it will not be effective as most people in social media are not that crypto maniac.

The social campaign can be very effective and have very interesting aspect. My experience is where I participated in several social campaigns (twitter usually) and many of this promoted services I continued to use.
If you must write something about the campaign, you must first to read and learn more about them.
I think campaign, where promoters interact with the service that promotes, is win-win combination

I think both have their advantages and disadvantages.

While with social media campaign you can interact with more people, bitcointalk signature campaign has more narrow targeting. The majority of bitcointalk users are already know about bitcoin and are eager to use bitcoin related services.
On the other hand in social media you are able to find absolutely new people, who are not awre about your rivals' services.

The choice is yours, however, using the combination of marketing channels may be the best decision.

Well this is the largest crypto community in the world. So I guess most of the fanatics are here and they are usually the top guys that are willing to invest, analyze or promote crypto projects. Social media is a big help too but marketing starts within the solid crypto community itself.

If you seen signature campaign here it is because this forum is related in bitcoin and their business are related in bitcoin compare in facebook..
If i have a bitcoin busines related ill stay in signature campaign.  and i am sure i will gain large traffic than in social campaign.. since not all friends in facebook are knows about bitcoin so its a good choice if you stay in this forum..

I believe signature campaigns must evolve, and managers must find way for everybody to be happy. This is very profitable as marketing choice, but we can improve this by proposing diferent prices for posts. This can be more tasks for menagers but definitely will improve posts quality. More effort you give in creating posts more fee you will get for example. This way campaigns can be even more efective!

Both of them are good to get in but signature campaigns required posts count where it should be constructive so this the reason that members participate in  sig campaign earn more than social media participants because of the efforts done .

Agreed, signature campaign is better because all people here is know about cryptocurrency, altough social media campaign also one of good way to introduce about cryptocurrency to others people outside bitcointalk members.

Both Signature & Social Media Campaign are effective. But in my opinion, Social Media Campaign is slightly more effective than Signature Campaign.


Signature Campaigns are good If only the targeted audience are Crypto Community fans and Enthusiasts. But If you want to reach a large audience If when They're not into Cryptocurrency, You can recruit them (Maybe). That way, It's a win win for you. Aside that, Social Media has always been a traditional place to advertise Products/services. There are Lot's of Crypto Enthusiasts who are not on bitcointalk.

I think they are  both effective campaign. Signature campaign is effective because many people that are pure bitcoin enthusiast because this forum is for cryptocurrency only. Social media campaign is good too. Since social media is used by millions of people. So its a good place to introduce bitcoin. You can give knowlege people there bitcoin there. But im not sure if you can attract many people there because they are different on interests.

Signature campaign
Your targeting is the bitcoiners, because the signature campaign isn't going outside from the forum.

Social media campaign
Your targeting is the random person but it can be predicting are the bitcoiners viewers or not. But it can give you more field for advertising your innovation or stuff.

But I just take an example such as the exchange site advertise, and this will fully relate into the altcoin and we may be targeting the bticoiners to use our service. and signature campaign will be more useful.
