Today Foodler.com popped up on thebitcoinreview.com

http://www.thebitcoinreview.com/site.php?site_id=1031
Quote
Foodler now accepts Bitcoin!

Foodler works with over 12,000 delivery restaurants in 48 states to offer pizza, Chinese, and many other delivery options.  Most customers order delivery, but you can also order takeout if you prefer.

Not sure if it true or just some troll post? if you try it out, please leave a review, thanks.

Edit:
Seems legit, but i can't try it since i'm not in US.
Quote
Use your bitcoins to get food delivery and takeout. Deposit any amount of bitcoins to your Foodler account, and they will be converted to FoodlerBucks credits.

Valid at all 12,041 Foodler restaurants!

- Your account will be credited within 1 hour of receipt confirmation.
- The current USD exchange rate per the Mt. Gox exchange will be used.
- You'll be given a unique destination address and QR code.

This is almost as great as being able to get pizza for Bitcoin.  Now I can get whatever Grin

Would be better if my local grocer would take them but this is a step in the right direction.

That is awesome... really awesome. I used foodler when I was in Boston early this year, everything worked out better than expected...

Please support their decision by ordering a takeaway from them once a week! I would!

Oh man, this is awesome! My girlfriend has been giving me a real hard time about my Bitcoin obsession. I can wait to order her food from the place down the street she's been wanting to try using "fake internet money."

You may want to use bitspend.net to spend it on the Internet.

Valid at all 12,041 Foodler restaurants!

This is how we win.   Foodler went out on a limb to begin accepting bitcoins.   Now it is up to us to patronize them by ordering from those restaurants through Foodler.  When the decision to accept bitcoin as payment equates to increased revenues, then the trickle of merchants we have now will turn into a steady stream of merchants coming onboard.  Which in turn creates incentive for the supply chain to begin accepting bitcoins as payment from the individual merchants who can save versus converting all of their coins to cash.   Close the loop.

The list of restaurants could fill out a little more but I'm going to go a little out of the way to get to one to be able to try this ... my first food order purchase paid for with bitcoins.

The list is pretty good in my area.

It wouldn't be too difficult for them to make this work for people actually sitting and eating in these restaurants - since the restaurants are already integrated into foodler, they wouldn't have to set up any special POS system.

On it!  Seems to have a good list of my local spots here.  PM me if you want a referral code.  It looks like you can use the BTC for credit (Foodlerbucks) for any restaurant.

I agree, as a community it's important to support business that will accept BTC.  If you see something, buy something!

*sits down at table*
*opens up foodler on smartphone*
*sets delivery address to restaurant*
*submits order*
*waitress arrives*
"Would you like to start out with something to drink?"
"No ma'am.  I've already ordered."
*Huh*

* sits down at table
* waitress: "we are foodler enabled, but I can process the order the old fashioned way if you prefer"
* "foodler is perfect - we would not have come otherwise"
* opens up foodler on smartphone
* ticks 'eating in restaurant' box - table 6 from dropdown menu
* "what would your recommend?" - "chicken"
* submits order
* drinks arrive
* "cheers everyone"
* food arrives
* a little bland - salt added. Chicken undercooked, but not dangerous
* food is eaten
* "how is the food sir?" - "very nice thank you"
* waitress's QR scanned from her T-shirt - tip sent

Alright alright, I didn't know that there was an eating in restaurant option!

Is that really offered?   Then why do they only show takeout / delivery on the site?
