With this site you can calculate how much average btc the device will produce. https://alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator
Then find (.06 / Kwh (CAD) * 24 * 30)
Finally, the difference will be your earnings.

Assuming you require something like 1600W to power your Antminer S4 (1380W but the power supply isn't 100% efficient and you cannot use it at max capacity)

It would cost you about 1.6kW * 24hrs * 0.06 $/kWh = 2.30 $CAD per day to run (electricity cost only).

The S4 isn't particularly current technology. The S9 is probably the most efficient and will likely remain so for quite a while (i.e. > 1 year). I don't recall the details of the S4, but I expect the S7 is more efficient than the S4 as well.

im wonderin if you really make profit ?

i mean  the price you pay the antminer + electricity cost + increased difficulty each month (well dont know how often)

so is it really worth investment, even for s9 ?

not to mention if you have some maintenance and if you need to repair/change parts  ..

i really want to start mining but not sure if it worth money anymore.

It's pretty hard to be competitive. Some big pools use miners they develop themselves and they delay their release to the public.
0.06$/kWh CAD is pretty much my breaking point for current gen miners and that's if you already own the miners.

Import taxes and shipping costs are usually a deal breaker.
