Buy, of course. Once the newbies start getting verified, we're going to have loads of money coming into BTC.

Obviously newbies aren't coming to sell BTC because they don't even own BTC yet. Anyone new to the market can only possibly be there to buy.

There should be an option for 'gox verification queue length = a big fat lie'.

I think first-time goxxers who already have acquired BTC through some other means are in the extreme minority.

I'm not verified but I consider getting verified just in case when they get their queue cleared. I'm pretty much all fiat on MtGox and I'm in no hurry to withdraw, but if MtGox somehow goes bust, I think "already-verified" customers have better chances of getting their money out.

Could these customers have tried to sign up when the price was rocketing upwards of 30% every day hoping to catch the wave, but now that it's passed them they won't want to inject money once verified?  Signing up is free.

LOL, I've been on Gox since before the '11 crash and I'm still not verified.  I still won't trade on Gox, I've moved on.  Though I do still hold some BTC there.

Says the idiot who asked if low-double digits was time to buy.... Nice hindsight and future predictions.  Wow.

You don't need to be verified to sell bitcoins on Mt. Gox. I suspect the vast majority of people cashing out have already sold their bitcoins and are just sitting with fiat in Mt. Gox waiting to be verified to withdraw to their bank.

But new investors wanting to get in have yet to buy their bitcoins because you need to be verified first before you can transfer funds to Mt. Gox.
