I am getting this error when I am trying to connect and post here for the last 20 minutes.

Busy, try again (504)

The server seems to be overloaded right now. Please try again in a little while.

If you are getting this error while trying to post something, press the reload/refresh button in your browser and accept the browser warning. Keep doing this until you get a non-error page, at which point your post will be made. Leave at least a few seconds between each attempt.

It is normal for this error to occur every once in a while. There is generally no need to report it. However, if you get this error so often that it becomes especially disruptive, post to the Meta section of the forum about it.

504 via master1

Anybody else faces this challenge when trying to connect to the forum?

I'm also having the same issue in the last a few minutes only. You did good reporting the problem but from the look of it , It looks more like a DDOS attack even though we are not used to see this error message and you should move this topic to the Meta section as mentioned on the message.

I saw that in the message but lets get real. Nobody notices anything in the meta section until it is over. Cheesy
This is the first time I have seen this message displayed this way and it has been over a year of being here and not seeing this message in this way. Just wanted a verification from others as soon as possible that I am not the only one experiencing this same message in this form so I know I don't have a virus or something on my connection(trump style cyber attack/cyber listening going on from the Russians Wink ) that I should be more concerned about.

I keep getting a 502 error. This happened a few times the other day (Sunday maybe? I can't remember) but it wasn't as bad as today. It just took me 15 minutes to log in.

Maybe it's suffering from the same problem as the Blockchain, overloaded with spam.

I feel you. This has occurred several times today, ranging from sending out PMs, to quoting and leaving replies.

Damn. My 'forever' session was logged out twice recently. I wonder if this is related.

We have two solutions to this. We can increase the blocksize, or we can move signatures onto a separate packet stream. Smiley

That appeared briefly while I was in the middle of improving something. No need to worry.

If you need me to give you 1 bitcoin to upgrade your servers then let me know.
As this user suggested is the reason for these problems happening all the sudden.

I got used to it by now.

I think we should all send Theymos 1 BTC so he can upgrade the datacenter. Then things will be fine.  Tongue Kiss Cool
All I ask is you have me ranked as a donator member. Wink
