1) Monero is going to be bigger than it is now. Not just because of its "anonymous" feature, but also because of its inflation, which is already lower than Litecoin and eventually will be lower than Bitcoins...

Eventually Monero will be blocked from being used anywhere but underground, it will be degraded to payment method for darknet marketplaces.
There is no way of global adoption, this is the aim of every cryptocurrency - if you are fine with Monero being niche coin it is ok.
Just don't expect it to get bigger without being suppressed by authorities first.

Every currency suppose to investigated by financial authority to prevent any black market or money laundering activities.
Even bitcoin now has been questioned by government about whose used it in order avoid taxes.
Monero had grown more than 2000% last year and keep increasing, but wait until it facing many problems as bitcoin did.

Among the current popular altcoin?  I think those that have no anonymous feature.  AS what Sundark said, anything that the government failed to regulate will automatically shutdown or blocked within that country's jurisdiction.  Why does bitcoin stands because bitcoin does not have that anonymity feature.  Transactions can be track.  Even FBI stated that they can easily track coins that pass thru mixer.  They said mixer just have an exaggerated claim and that they are not what they claim they are.

How can the FBI trace through coins that went thought helix while using Tor? I just don't see it.

Monero already had his time, 2000% was a ton of gains, we can never get those kind of gains again, unfortunately, at least that's what I think realistically, we will go through ages until we get to the last ATH.

Anonymous coin hype isn't over, it's an essential feature in digital currencies and other tech that will gain more importance and value for many years to come. It's not a hype by its very definition.

Smart contracts are not an essential feature but they do offer automatization, which is always valuable for obvious reasons. Again, not a hype by definition.

Bitcoin's anonymity will keep getting better. If other anonymous coins where the future, bitcoin wouldn't be the king of darknet. In any case, the 2000% peak we saw with XMR was delusional hype, fuelled by the alphabay news which were used to pump and exaggerate things. Anyone that isn't a total idiot knows this.

Etherum? Monero? Those two have significant market cap and fundamentals. Personally I think Decred, Potcoin, and ICONOMI as well. But XMR and ETH are some very safe picks. Litecoin is probably the second oldest crypto and it's still around so there's definitely some staying power for it. What are your critiques for picking an altcoin?

Well, if you're trying to get rich from investing, I'm sure no one would say that it will happen instantly. all it requires a process. Well, even you also need to do so repeatedly. perhaps with a pump that occurs in altcoin can make you rich. but, you can not do it with just one pump, but you need it many times.

I also don`t think that days of becoming rich with help of crypto world is not over yet, there is big potential in bitcoin and probably some altcoins will rise in the future. Big fishes are making big profit that is well known, but we can make some profit as well, smart people can find a way to do it here, at least just following some people from here can make nice profit each month, that can be trading or some tipsters from gambling section.

Any thing can possible but at the same time we have to think about negativity also. ICO is good option to invest but today we are seeing many ico failed in beginning only. We have to check both sides of the coin like head or tail, either we will make or may loose.

This definitely seems like it's the case. Those who profited the most from the recent PASC pump were big ass fish for sure. Others saw the pump, dropped a few btc, and got a good amount out, but not life changing sums. The whales of the alt coin scenes accumulate when they know it's right, pump and direct, then dump crazy, leaving the small fish shell shocked!

Still 10-100x high volume pumps are definitely exciting! When the party ends, there's nothing left for a hot minute. What's the next one? The ANN secction is full of shit without potential. You never know what will rise truly.

I for one will be firmly dead or in nappies by that stage. This forum repeatedly demonstrates its inability to think beyond a 5 minute time span anyway. You could either sit around for several decades or take your chances.
