Genesis-mining any good?

I would suggest you don't do this but it is up to you.  Genesis is one of the good ones but it will take you a long time to recoup your money and get a ROI and even then it will be a small amount, you will be better off trading or simply just holding.

There are a lot of threads already open regarding Genesis-Mining and pretty much all of them have the same conclusion. If you do invest there be prepared to lose all your money or minimum a part of it and never see it again. You can also read other threads which I mentioned here but I did a resume for you so no need , know that cloud mining is from long time dead and unprofitable.

Remember the golden rule, if I can make money mining myself, why share it with other people ? This should be enough for you and any other person reading this thread to stay away from cloud mining.

Instead of doing that, much  better for you to put your investment in trading. That's a good and nice idea rather putting your investment in the cloud mining. But still yours decision will made to happen not in the others hand decision.

You better invest that amount in real mining hardware and start mining from your home, but if you are not based in countries with very cheap electricity than don't think about earning anything from bitcoin mining, either mine some altcoin in early days with your device or try to learn crypto trading which is lot more profitable than mining.

Yes, Genesis Mining is one of the few legit cloud mining companies, you will be paid and they most likely won't run off with your money.
IF you think you will be able to earn by purchasing a contract - you are wrong, bitcoin cloud mining is not profitable anymore.
You could potentially earn more by investing in casino's bankrolls than CM.
