Hello,

Somehow my Pandaminer lost most of the drivers (including the GPU drivers) when I changed the system language.
Now that's a real problem considering me not having saved all the drivers on a USB before messing up...

1) Could someone help me get back all the drivers needed for the original Windows 10 enterprise version? (a list with all drivers needed is well enough so I could download them myself)

2) If someone perhaps would have a list with all drivers needed for ETH mining with Linux it would be very helpful too...

Greetings!

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I've had it with this Windows 10 crashing all the time. Is it a good idea to install getPiMP on my pandaminer? Do I have to save any crucial drivers, or does PiMP provide all drivers needed?

Uninstall the current AMD Drivers.

Download the following one: whql-win10-64bit-radeon-software-crimson-16.9.1-sep13.rar

After I reinstallted it with a english Windows, i got the same problem with the grafik card. They send me the following link for the download: http://exmail.qq.com/cgi-bin/ftnExs_download?k=573138646e2db6df6fbf9e4c466507001d050f5250520800051c5a0254571d0600540d49005753531f070c5d545555560a00085354651f32455949084c12595c03011552550759461f435900040a5e1f415e5e10160442571f524a0d0c165f5c1c1f164a130442320c&t=exs_ftn_download&code=218dae02&s=email

Well I just bought PiMP classic and it's been a whole night and day that I'm trying to get it installed on my Pandaminer...
It's not that easy... Anyone got any tips? It keeps telling me at the extraction on the Pandaminer that the file has been damaged, while when I extract it on my normal PC, it goes fluently...

Note: I believe we have already covered this in the PIMP live chat, but I wanted to make sure the answer was posted here for all the pimps:

Please follow the exact instructions for writing SSD in the Guide:

Here's the latest Users Guide! https://getpimp.org/guide2/ is the website, and on the rig you have: pimp --help and minerfarm --help

We will be glad to work with you to find more information about using PIMP with your Pandaminer in the PIMP live chat. No guarantees, since this is non-standard hardware, but we can give it a shot!

So now it's been about a whole day I've been trying to get this PiMP software start mining on my Pandaminer but it's getting really annoying.

Problem 1:

I can't get it passed the terminal. I can't get to any PiMP platform or some sort.
(original windows 10 OS still on the pandaminer)

Problem 2:

configurations of wallet, adress and stuff don't go fluently. It's not really beginners-user-friendly...

Problem 3:

My GPU drivers do run on the PiMP terminal but not on the windows platform...

Anyone can help me out in human language?

he said PiMP was for milkcrate miners

seems he changed his mind???

do you remember what you told me Melt???

lets just say he was Very Not Interested in PiMP + Pandaminer

Please guys....drama is the worst...

First, Pandaminer rigs work fine with PIMP, you can use the same instructions as a regular rig or milk crate rig. Drivers are already installed. Just follow the guide in the "newpimp" command, the videos, etc.

When you came asking about the Pandaminers, you were asking if we would allow you to sell copies of PIMP with pandaminers. We chose to continue to sell PIMP direct to the customer instead. I believe this is the part where you started insulting everyone including me, all of the miners and our customers and were asked to leave.

I just reviewed the logs from Dec 5 conversation with you and wanted to offer the following additional information. Out of respect for you I will not paste your words, only mine.

[12/05>09:13]  .:@melt:. cryptomined: if pandaminer would like to ship me a free test unit i would be glad to test pimp on it

In fact, this was in direct response to you asking me to purchase a $2000 pandaminer to test PIMP with, and then complaining of the $25 cost of PIMP.

[12/05>09:19]  .:@melt:. if you can afford a pandaminer you can afford pimp.

Then you insulted me for using milk crates. Look at the PIMP RIGS on our site, you will see the true creativity of the PIMPS!

In conclusion, PIMP supports PandaMiner rigs just like any other GPU rigs, and we even support the top notch work of our competitors at Pandaminer OS for putting out a great product that serves their market tier. In fact, they are the ones that told us that PIMP works great on the Pandaminer. Smiley

What we do not support is people pressuring us and then insulting us when they do not get their way.

Sad to say, we were actually preparing to contact you regarding cooperation with your merchandise site as well as your Youtube video channel. But you will have to cease badmouthing the new miners, because we all started as newbies the same way. PIMP is about respect and cooperation for the betterment of mining. We hold you to a higher standard.

So.. Cryptomined, PiMPS and miners all: Thank you all for your feedback and come get some support if you are still having trouble!!!

1. Are you able to login and reach the terminal?
2. Did you watch the 5 minute video how to edit the address?
3. Can't help with Windows, but, we can help you get mining with PIMP. Join our support livechat, and watch our easy videos and guides. Or, type 'newpimp' in your terminal and follow the exact instructions.

I would recommand to checkout this:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1757132.0

The Pandaminer OS is Free, and if you may want to have more than one panda miner in the future its maybe worth it to buy the custom ROM which gives you a boost of at least 15% with less powerconsuming :-)

I'm already having that OS and it works like a charm with the pandaminer. Just install it, and choose on the webinterface what you want to mine and your wallet and lets go Smiley

If you want to know more, you can ask Eliovp directly by PN.

Pandaminer OS is free, really ?? As I know it is not. Minimum quantity is 10 licences, so in total 10x 30USD = 300USD

Bargain price ;-)

If you can buy a 2000+ dollar miner but an OS + Custom rom that will make it faster, use less power, easier to handle and more stable is to much, yeah... :p
I understand ;-)

nothing good is free.  Or lets say rarely free.  I belive in paying people for their work if its worth it to me, and this is worth it to me.  Some agree, others don't it's all good.

That's like 3 days of mining to pay for the OS, it's not really noticeable.... with what you save as electricity + enhanced hashing. even if you have 10 panda that's 70$ per panda with the biosmod to ROI, that's a week of mining, and you have ROI'd for enhanced hashrate and electricity that u'll get back in barely no time, tbh eliovp pricing is more than honest. And you don't pay for upgrades either.

I have only one Panda and electricity I pay less than 0,05USD/1kWh... so for one Panda it is not interesting for me.

Yes ofc, that's why his business model is aimed @ big farm, for a solo miner it's not very interesting, that's a given  Wink
