Ripple is a big crucial project with a load of threads here, but it's not really an alt crypto. Should it have its own board in this forum?
"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

Just use https://ripple.com/forum instead (IMHO).

IMO, Ripple questions are best asked (and answered) on the Ripple forum and/or StackExchange

Yeah Ripple is mostly a human trust based system using cryptography, not really an altcoin as we know it, shouldn't be on this forum at all IMO.

I'd advise against registering on that phpBB forum, it's outdated based on the skin, which has not been used for a few years(since 2007-2008). And phpBB is easily hacked and still used md5 back then.

Take my information with a grain of salt, but if it's old, it's insecure.

The more interesting discussion is happening here.
