Someone I know suggested that I ask in this forum because there are a lot of scambusters here. So here I am.

What do you think of Openshares? There was someone I saw in facebook promoting it. Someone please check them out at openshares.net.

This their github https://github.com/moonstonedac/openshares

Does anyone here found something? I see that the license is an MIT license and the creators are a company called Cryptonomex. Anybody know who they are?

Ok after reading about Cryptonomex on the interwebs I have doscovered that the company was founded by Dan Larimer and Stan Larimer. Bitshares 2.0 and Openledger were developed by them under the Cryptonomex brand.

Is Openshares also created by Dan and Stan Larimer under the Cryptonomex brand? But why is the Openshares FB group showing a group of Indonesian and Pakistani developers behind it?

I think your confusing openshares with openledger, openledger is what the bitshares wallet called which Dan Larimer built and coded under the company Cryptonomex which powers bitshares and peerplays which is one of the slickest wallets going

Openshares is not developed by the Larimers. Some other group of developers are using the source code and have created their own network. There is nothing wrong with this at first glance. But if the Larimers were accuesed of using this code to scam the community then the same thing can happen again done by another group of developers.
