No matter what I thought of that wager, I'd never leave my coins on the site for 3 years. Especially not on the site that cheated everyone who bet against BFL shipping.

I do belive that Bitcoin will be worth more than that by 2016, but I don't see any point to bet for it. If it will come true I will make so much money just by buying Bitcoins and hoarding them. No reason whatsoever to risk any Bitcoins by giving on this site.

Please make this on bets of bitcoin.  I will bet against this.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

The bet, which is still awaiting approval, is:

1 Bitcoin will be worth at least $10,000 by 12/31/2016
Success of this bet will occur if 1 Bitcoin is valued at $10,000 or more on one of the largest exchanges of the time (based upon top 4 trading volumes/day).
The $10,000 is in Federal Reserve Notes (US dollars).

BFL has maybe one half working prototype and paid LukeJr to visit this prototype. BetsOfBitcoin decided that this procedure counts as "device has been shipped to customer".

I want to place a bet but given the track record of Bitcoin related sites I do not expect the bets of bitcoin site to still be around when the bet expires, so I can't participate.

Exactly that's my problem, too.

Nothing agains this site, but I have yet to find a Bitcoin Site that I would trust with my money for more than a ~6 Month time frame.

All previous versions of currency will no longer be supported as of this update
